Pick yourself up one of these in lane and you'll never have a problem with Annie, the moment the spell shield is up on it you can all in her and negate her stun and her ult damage. Doesn't mater if your playing an all AD champ like Zed, Talon, or an all AP champ like Leblanc or Brand. ADc's should get this, it prevent Annie from flash Tibbers initiating on you and your team.

fucks annie so hard in she may as well not even have the stun passive to begin with. Seriously, why does no one believe this?

Except the CD on the spellshield is so long that she can combo you more or less 4 times while it's down. She can also pop the spellshield with one spell, then stun you immediately after.

Also, building Malmortius and Mercurial on an AP champion? Are you high?

Yeah...That's not exactly how that works.

You go right ahead and pick one of those up while she picks up more damage and nukes you a few seconds after she easily pops your shield.

Counterbuilding is not the same thing as Counterplay. While they're related, the ability to counterbuild does NOT replace any need for counterplay. Counter play is your ability to work around the enemy's abilities and optimize the situation for yourself, but given that her whole kit is point and click, including the stun, there is very little one can do to her. Either cower in fear, or use a long ranged champ.
