How I feel about Mr. Kench

I had originally made a thread about Tahm Kench before playing him myself. I had asked if he was a failure since I rarely saw him being used. Now I've played him as a jungler and a support for about 10 games and I have some thoughts.

First, he's my new favorite champion for sure. I love his kit and just his character. He's a ton of fun.

But his early game seems pretty weak. I had mana issues when playing him as support, and ganking was pretty difficult early game when I jungled. As for late game, oh man, it's beautiful.

I'm not sure if the intended trade off here is a weak early game for a strong late game, but even so, I'd like to throw out a Tongue Lash or Devour a minion to spit it at an enemy once or twice without feeling like I'm wasting my precious mana pool. Other than that, this is my favorite release as of late Riot.

I think Taum Kench is very powerful in the hands of a truly skilled player. He seems to be ridiculously tanky when I encounter him in teamfights. I haven't sensed him to be too weak in the early game, but maybe I'll look for that as a potential weakness in future encounters. Concerning how I feel about Taum Kench... I hate him and never want to see him on my team in solo Q... ever. Because as awesome as Taum Kench is, he almost invariably messes up my plays in game. I've been in a number of Taum Kench games but only one game where the player didn't screw me over (I wish I could honor him twice). He is my least favorite release.
