Short post: I mean considering the new pen works only on bonus armour and he has the lowest base armour out of all tanks, is like to give him some help not insta-during in teamfights. I mean LDR basically IS the counter to sion at this point because he needs to stack armour and his hp gain passive now means he takes more dmg. I know a lot of people want sion buffs, but I feel he actually will need some help in the preseason.
El Condor Pasa2 votesThe last whisper changes are already a buff to Sion. You would need to build over 518 bonus armor on him at level 18 before LDR becomes more effective than the old LW.
kasfas1 votesThey aren't so much a buff to him, his base armour is around 70. Granted he does take less dmg from LDR pen, but takes more dmg cuz bonus hp and his low base armour. Other tanks are much better off because of their high base armours. Hell even Ahri has higher base armour! Point is, I feel he could use a bit of love by bumping his base armour up by 5 - 10 points.
