Something kinda unpopular, that I think needs to be stated:

Junglers don't belong in lanes.

With the exception of Diana, who's more a midlaner that went jungle than a jungler that went midlane, I can't think of a single jungler that's healthy in laning situations. Either they're useless in lane, or they're absurdly oppressive in it (sometimes they're a bit of both!). But either way, they're terrible to see in lane for someone.

Why is this? An ability you only need to dodge once or twice, before being able to go back to being just fine, suddenly becomes rather oppressive if they can keep throwing it. You only need to dodge Lee Sin's Q once or twice, before he has to back off to keep farming (or he risks getting into a 2v3). In lane, you need to dodge it again and again and again and again, because you don't know which one could be with his jungler there. And even if his jungler isn't there, he can use it to deal a good amount of damage to you. Fiddle goes from being a sometimes mild annoyance in the jungle (who can deal a lot of damage if he pulls it off right) to being legitimately oppressive in some situations (Namely whenever botlane). Rengar top is...Rengar top.

...

And so forth.

Laners going to jungle has a chance of going either way with them. Either it's obnoxious and annoying (Ez and Twitch jungle), or it actually makes them feel a bit better to play against (Diana doesn't feel as Akali-esque, for example). But junglers going to lane has almost universally been terrible.

Why is this relevant? Because I see a lot of people begging for Riot to revert the loss of minion bonus damage for Fiddle's E right now, and I've seen similar things asked for in the past.

In my honest opinion, Riot should be working more for pulling junglers out of lane. It's holding some junglers back, since they can't be buffed to be good, because they're too oppressive for lane if they're good in the jungle (Such as Fiddle).

Now, should they ever be in lane again? It depends. Right now, they need to push a lot of them out of lanes. Riot can later fix them up for lane, once they're balanced for jungle, but they should be careful to not make them too strong in it.

Just my two cents.

Sion? Morgana? Camille? Zyra? I fail to see the connection between those and junglers going to lane.

All three of those were designed as layers. Sion and Camille were designed to go top. Morgana and Zyra were designed to go mid, and ended up going support, before finally being able to go mid again (sometimes).

I made a post a while back about elise nida and jayce

All 3 have a very similar laning, poke till they are low and then all in. Elise and nida were gutted so much that they had no choice but to stay in the jungle, jayce since his build changed from tear became oppressive as hell but remained unchanged in the most part. I didnt for once imaging jayce could lane but i expected some nerfs to get him back to a tear build

This inconsistency still bugs me

I think Jayce is fine without a tear build. But he needs to be less oppressive without it.

If he wants to be oppressive, he should have to give up 750g to do so. If he wants to not spend that 750g, he needs to not be as oppressive.
