Even if it was meant to be a Champion's reason to be picked, would that still be prohibited?
I ask this because of the assassin reworks and how people are complaining about Syndra on Reddit.

Everyone has a problem when she can miss all of her skillshots and still kill anyone anyway with a single R press.
I think it's healthy when there is actually something you can do to prevent a champ from killing you. Having an automatic 100% death spell that you can't stop once the animation begins, on a point and click is absolutely ridiculous.

Still the problem with her ult isn't the damage, believe it or not. It's the availability of it.
Thanks to the cancer MYMU you grab some CDR and you can walk with 7-sphere ult at all times. Before MYMU it had to be set up durning an engage which took about 10 seconds and had a window of like 2 seconds to be used and should you miss it, you had to redo the whole thing from scratch. That's why the most common ults were 5- and 6- sphere ones, which aren't able to 100-0 anyone, except for that one guy who was AFK for 10 minutes.
I'm sure you can see how it was fair back then.

Saw that happen on full HP Ezreal. Her gold-lead was almost non-existent as she wasn't back to shop to buy [ARAM].

It's perfectly fine though if the player is already ahead.
You're trading in lane, get them to 40%, kill them with a combo, that's fine. Do it a second time, fine. Then 100-0 them almost instantly if that's your identity, fine. Some champions can healthily have an identity where if their jungler gets them early kills or they earn them themselves, they can start instantly popping people when their ultimate is up - cool. Being able to do it by virtue of the champion when even/behind is problematic. Not even just 100-0 - it's annoying that a Xin or Jax or Nasus can 1v1 someone when they're 1/6/0 and the other guy is also a strong duelist and is 6/1/0 just because they have 4 items (even cs) - but at least there's counterplay there. There really isn't counterplay to 100-0 when the guy doing it is even/behind.
Escheton1 votesSure it should exist. If you walk around with 30mr and no extra health a magic dmg assassin should be able to oneshot you. Especially when ahead in levels(quite likely against an adc) and/or active gold.
