Vision, vision, vision. - A guide for lower elo players who don't know this yet.
Hello Boys, Girls, Attack Helicopters..
I've been seeing this as an issue for lower elos while I've been leveling up a 2nd account and it didn't take me very long to throw this together so sit back, join Pantheon and read along if you don't know how to use vision to win games!

Anyways, I am not a super high rank or anything. On my main account I'm in Gold. I see a lot of people who don't know how to push early leads into the mid-game or they end up losing the lead to random deaths across the board. Both of things can be alleviated with the power of

These little graphs are super simple and are just to give you some basic ideas of where to place wards depending on what side of the map you're on and etc.
Circle colors: Blue - Where to get vision from Blue Side Red - ^ ^ Red Side Pink - Vision Wards from either team
We'll start with the easiest situation: Laning Phase
I put Top, Mid, and Bot lanes all in the same graph for ease of viewing. Sorry junglers, you should be assisting with vision all across the map whenever possible.
Laning Phase
Warding in lane has a very simple purpose - 90% of the time it is to prevent getting ganked by the enemy jungler or a roaming lane.
If you're stuck under tower, you usually want to get wards on your side of the map to make sure you do not get tower dived while pressured, especially since
are popular at the moment.
If you're winning the lane and shoving it in. You want to get deeper wards down to see where the jungler is located/make sure they can't come in and undo all the progress you've made in the lane.

Moving forward from the laning phase, the early objective is typically Dragon
Dragon
The early dragons can both propel you forward with a lead you have already gained or you can take a game you were behind in and make yourself even for a little while to give yourself a window to fight in. Either way, prepping and vision on it are very important to making it easy/safe to take. You also prevent your enemy from taking it for free hopefully.
You should only rush dragon suddenly if 3 show top side of the map, mid, bot, and/or jungle has been killed. Even then you should throw a ward down for where enemies might arrive from to prevent anything crazy. We're looking at you Jinx Rocket.

You'll see people say "Prep for Dragon" or something like that here and there and all they mean is that vision needs to be put down by you guys and you need to look and clear enemy vision in the area so you can either bait them in or just take it safely. I like having a pink in the small bush and using
to clear the pit but you can use another pink in the pit also if no one has a scanner ready.

Using Dragons are a great way to move forward into the mid-game and take over the map. This next section is for grouping as 3, 4 or all 5 at a mid lane tower if you have the power to simply shove it down without much danger.
Mid-Game
When you're grouped at a tower to shove them down and push your lead in, you have to keep in mind: This is a great way to further our lead, but this gives my enemy a chance to flank us and win a team fight with a tower for back up.
So what do we use? No, no
sit down, not everyone can bring their own lane tower. It is Vision!
You have to watch your sides to prevent teleport and flanking champions. Especially lately, the big trends have been
All of who can really hurt you when surprising you from the side and can erase a lead you had with a single play.
This graph is just a single example of going for 2nd tier mid, you can adjust depending where on the map you are trying to pressure.

Now, between Objectives and Grouping, some comps function well with a single, strong split-pusher causing havoc on the opposite side of the map. We know the pain

Split Pushing
This is a very effective method for taking a singple player who is ahead and using them to help the whole team. If no one on the enemy team can stop them 1v1, then they have to use extra resources just to deal with whoever is splitting. Leaving the rest of teh map 4v3 and so on for the rest of your team
BUT I have seen way too many times where a split pusher gets undone simply because they get collapsed on without their team being in position to take something in trade for their team mate's death. So the team and the pusher have to help each other out by providing vision so they can back off and survive while the main group does their work
This graph just shows some vision suggestions as a split pusher from blue side, just mirror it for red side pushes.

Now.. with these powers combined... it is time.
THROW AT BARNOOOOO
Disclaimer* please, do baron with caution, if the whole enemy team is alive, it is usually never a good time to do baron. Now a moment of silence while we remember even professionals who make this mistake............that is enough talk about TSM
Vision at Baron is must to prevent the enemy team taking it for free and for you to make sure no one like
come flying in at the last moment to steal it away from you. Overall, it is pretty much like Dragon: See if they're doing it or see if anyone is contesting it.

takes a deep breath
I hope this kind of helps new players or people who are struggling to climb. If you just came to the bottom looking for a TL:DR, all you get is
and

Have a good day everyone!
