what do you guys think of champion reworks?

with shen and taric reworks coming up, i'm interested to hear what everyone thinks about the way riot reworks champions and if it's for better or worse.

personally, i'm not looking forward to shen's rework, because he's been one of my favourite champions for several years and the feedback from the PBE has been overwhelmingly negative, but riot has done some amazing reworks recently and they definitely deserve some credit for poppy, who was considered a troll pick just months ago.

what do you guys think the best and/or worst of the reworks are?

I think some have been really good, like Sion, Ashe, Gangplank were pretty good. However, I'm not a fan of the Ryze, Morde, or Skarner rework personally. Darius, isn't too bad, Fiora they just gave her too many passives on top of passives and made her so goddamn complex compared to her old kit, cant say hers was great either... And i hardly consider Garens a rework... Anyway people still enjoy these champs so they cant be complete failures.. but the 3 i named i feel were the best personally.

i liked the fiora rework a lot actually. she's a strong top laner now, whereas before she was barely even viable, no mobility or escape, just balls deep at all times.

sion ashe and gp were definitely good ones. but i miss ap sion.

garen's "rework" wasn't even noticeable.. all the exact same abilities

If you actually go to Fiora's wikia page and read all the bullshit she has ull understand wut i mean lol. Its like, do this for bonus %max hp damage movement speed, block spells, stun people, slow, dash, heal, attack speed steroid, crit etc its just nuts all the shit they put on her kit compared to what she had.

the Shen rework is leaving me a bit salty, but hopefully they'll do something about that, as many people seem very unhappy with it, and i've always thought Shen was a really fun champion and don't feel he needs a rework.

Poppy was amazing. 10/10 probably the best rework they've done.

KogMaw and Graves in particular from the marksmen update were both pretty cool and unique

i only played old Mordekaiser once and havent played him post-rework, so no opinion there

i'll never forget the wonderful 1v5 Fiora pentakills with that beautiful yet absolutely disgusting ult, an overall i think her kit is a hundred times better than it was before. great rework.

Gangplank was also a job well done, they made his passive very meaningful and noticeable, and the barrels add a lot of depth to his kit.

i was REALLY hoping they'd rework MissFortune into a full-blown AP mage, but i understand that a lot of other people would've been really unhappy about that.

Ryze rework kinda sucked.

Zilean rework also kinda sucked, i feel they needed to do a heavier rework on him.

Tristana rework was pretty cool, another one they did pretty well on.

Sion rework was amazing, A+ for that one riot.

Soraka left some people salty at first but as we all know she certainly didn't suffer from the rework. i think they did good on it.

Viktor was a good one. i remember how insanely underplayed he used to be, and they did a lot of cool stuff with him.

Cassiopeia Sona Nidalee Rengar Gragas and Kassadin were all relatively small ones that i don't have much to say about, but i don't think they drastically ruined any of those champions.

remember when Heimerdinger was a troll pick? i do. great rework.

i know a former Xerath main who was INCREDIBLY salty about the rework, but he gets played a lot more these days than he used to.

death to AP MasterYi . 10/10 rework.

Trundle didn't change much but he's all icy now which is cool.

Sejuani also didn't change much

my friend mained old Karma but i mean at least other people play her now.

all updates before those ones were before my time in league, overall i think they've done a pretty good job with the reworks. also DAMN this is a long comment.
