Yasuo and Fiora Dash problems

Ok, we all know that Yas and Fio are both pretty solid and nearly OP champs just in how they work. However you try and build or pick around them they have plenty in their kits to foil your plans and destroy you. However 1 thing I think needs to be reworked and limited is their Dashing abilities. Fiora seems to have a 1-2 second CD on hers, at least as far as I've seen one chasing and fighting in the lane. And Yasuo has his set to reset every time he goes to a new target. There is no limit to the amount of times they can use their abilities as they have NO MANA, not even an Energy bar. Yet others like Shen, Gragas, Malph, and others with a dash type ability all have a good CD on them as well as have MANA cost making it something they can't spam.

We could use something to limit Yas and Fio to help them not be so OP dominate is lane just from 1 skill. Also it's just in the fact that they don't have any resource to manage that also puts them over all other AD toons with mana, like Panth, all ADCs, and others who still have to use mana for skills. Riven also has a Dash but has a decent CD on it, I still think should could use an Energy or Mana resource as well as you can get the CDs down very low and just spam her Q a lot to so massive damage.

Anyone can say a champion is balanced, but sorry when you are shutting down everyone in lane all cause you can dart in and out of turret before it can target and fire at you, and you have a shield for when it does hit you that negates all damage no matter what then you have a massive leg up on other champs. Panth, Yas, and many others have shields that are way too powerful, I think they need to be taking some damage instead of negating ALL damage from that hit. I can understand a shield blocking X amount of damage but when it can block a 500+ hit, it's something that's a bit turn around in the fights.

Perhaps if not willing to give Yas and Fio a resource to manage then perhaps have a limit on their skills. Say Yas can dash to any target that hasn't been dashed to in the past 30 seconds, but can only Dash 3 times with each Dash recharging everyone 25-45 seconds. This would give him some ability to be able to make up ground still in a chase, but not give him the infinite dash in and out that he has now. Similar setup for Fio would make hers good in a fight like Ahri's dashing move, but since she doesn't NEED a target to dash to with her Q then making it have a single use with a higher CD would put a limit there, say a 25-35 second CD. Their extremely high mobility might be part of their lore, but their invulnerability they gain from it seems to make it more than just mobility. This is just something that is getting taken advantage of in Macros and Scripts to such an effect that just setting up Macros to use the skill to any target you have moused over along with other skills means they get mobility and insane damage. Seeing a Yas Dash, use his hurricane slash, Wind Wall, pop ult, and dash out all before the turret can even target him makes me think the player is scripting yet the fact that Yas get invulnerable status from his dash and being in the air with ult, as far as Turret Targeting is concerned, means the Yas players get a lot of free dive kills that would have ended in ties otherwise.

The first thing I want to say is that reading is important, and you should probably read up about a champion's kit on the wiki before you post so that you understand what you are talking about. You seem to misunderstand the cooldown mechanics on both Fiora and Yasuo's dashes, and you also seem to have forgotten that Fiora has mana.

Now, on to the actually important things:

Not all dashes are equal. Not all of them serve the same purpose in a champion's kit. Even among the ones that do share a purpose, there is going to be discrepancies in the actual power level of the abilites, because every champion is unique. You compare the dashes of Fiora and Yasuo to the dashes on characters like Gragas and Shen, with no regard for how those champions operate or what the dash actually accomplishes in their kit.

Lets take a look at Gragas/Malphite/Shen/Sejuani/Amumu/most other tanks for a second. These are tanks. Their dashes have fairly long ranges, fairly long cooldowns, and have powerful CC's attached that often set their target up to be hit by their other CC abilities. Their dashes are exclusively for the purpose of getting into a fight and starting their CC chain. Once they are in a fight, they can rely on their tankiness to survive in the fight and get back out.

Yasuo, Fiora, and Riven are melee carries. Unlike tanks, they are incredibly squishy, and cannot rely on innate tankiness to get out of a fight alive. To compensate for this, their dashes are fairly short range, but have incredibly low effective cooldowns. These abilities are designed to allow them to survive in the thick of a fight by dancing around their opponents, avoiding the opponent's damage output.

You really can't compare the mobility tools of these two different groups. Its just not reasonable. If we judged all dashes by the same criteria, sure you could complain about how Fiora and Yasuo have such low cooldowns, but someone else could just as validly complain that Fiora and Yasuo's dashes don't have the CC that lots of other dashes have.

If you have trouble fighting these champions, then really what I would recommend to do is play them. It'll give you a lot more appreciation for their limitations and weaknesses, and it just might make you understand how to beat them.

fiora uses mana, and has to hit a target for her dash's cooldown to be reduced. and for her to effectively move afterward, she needs to hit a vital.

I agree about yasuo though, his dashes are very stupid.
