Talon needs a rework! (again)

Talon needs a rework. Overall, he is too squishy, does either too much or too little damage, and is weak in general. His abilities are not well designed, and they echo an earlier less sophisticated time of lol.

  1. Q. His q is ok. Dash to an enemy, stab and if you get a kill, get some health and 50% cdr.
  2. W. Rake. rake is not ok. It does not synergize with any of his abilities, it needs to be reworked to synergize with Q.
  3. E. Vault. This is not ok, it is an ability that gives no advantage to anything except running away. It is not a gap closer, it is not an initiator, it is a crappy dash, and its only saving grace is its low cd. It needs to be reworked more than any other ability.
  4. R. Shadow assault. NOT OK. Its damage is dependent on all knives hitting the target. In other words, you have to get out in front of the target and then in only 2.5 seconds get enough of a lead on them that all the knives come spinning in a line. Otherwise you deal mediocre damage.

So, here is my rework.

  1. Q remains mostly the same. It benefits from HP in the healing it gives on kill.
  2. W now has 3 charges, refilling one charge per 3 seconds. It no longer returns the blades that are thrown, but it does slow, and it leaves a shadow mark. When you kill an enemy with a shadow mark with any source of damage, Q has its cooldown lowered by 50%. This means that now W and Q have synergy. In addition, targets with shadow marks on them take an additional 25% damage from rake.
  3. E. Now is replaced with shadow dash. Dash forward, and become invisible and gain 40% move speed for 2.5 seconds. 8 second cd at max rank with 40% cdr. Shadow dash allows you to dash through walls.
  4. R. Reworked. Now, shadow assault causes an explosion of shurikens that deal damage around talon, and a cloud of fog. The fog slows all enemies walking through it by 40%, makes them take an additional 25% damage from rake (w), and allows talon to remain invisible while in the cloud. The cloud lasts for 8 seconds.

See? This is a kickass assassin. The old talon can take a hike, this new talon is way better. Talon would excel at top and mid, and maybe jg.

Its very hard to hit his R Knifethingys, you need to Autoattack the enemy once. Imagine an Item that every AD Assassin builds and that benefits coming out of Invisibilty and doing one Autoattack afteritem 3147 .

the only thing i agree with is the change to his w see while e and r are nice changes they suffer the fate of being already live on other champs, what i do say is instead of stopping at a slow on his w since it has 3 charges build it into a stun something talon needs so he can better secure a kill, so landing 3 stars on the same targets stuns them for .5 secs per star.

now to remedy the flop on his r i say and will always say give it a recast so that after initial cast and blade circle he can recast to reappear at any location within 200 units outside of the circle and cause the blades to return sooner.

the e has always been an iffy one since its really fun to run through the entire map in 12 secs to hunt down enemy jungler it still lacks as a gap closer or mobility skill so i say give it a 5% ms boost after jumping terrain decaying over 2 seconds and the range of his q should be increased by 100 units its just too short for a dash skill

and as an added bonus if r is cast talon is able to cast w in a target direction causing him to instead throw stars from the ring until they are all used so say about 8 stars? = 8 recasts but they have down scaling damage meaning each subsequent cast deals reduced damage if it hits the same target, and yes these stars can pass through multiple targets, walls and minions
