tell the difference between honey pots and zac blobs?
look the same to me on the ground, why doesn't scuttle run to them?

Very Hard Engage1 votesbut thats where the water comes into play. it erodes the scent and or it simply cant be smelled due to the presence of water.
(like drop something in water and try to smell something submerged... you'll cough up water)
((but assuming the crab has gills then its presumed it cant survive in a 2inch river....))
