Zed shouldn't oneshot someone who has 2 armor items

Seriously, gut something. I literally have next to 50 armor against a standard lethality+ldr build, and thats with a Sunfire cape and a DMP. I shouldn't be getting oneshot.

I also have a Titanic hydra (400 health), Triforce (300 health), and Frozen Mallet (700 health) btw

Seriously, why do assassins have so much flat damage? I mean, they don't need it to assassinate a 2000 health adc with 100 armor. Their kits should be about doing their damage quickly and not dying, to a single target, thoughtfully using their spells to kill someone under the watch of four other players. Yet almost every AD assassin now has AoE, short cooldown, high damage nukes.

Seriously. It literally looked like URF which how much he was spamming.

You had +100 armor.

It is fairly safe to assume that Zed had both Black Cleaver and Lord Dominik's Regards combined with at least one lethality item at full build.

If Zed managed to land everything on you, it isn't really a surprised that you died quickly (especially if Zed managed to sneak a few autoattacks in).

Every lethality item, which is 55 flat pen.

I had 200 armor, to be precise.

He snuck exactly one auto in. How do I know? Because I only hit one auto and I had Triforce + Bloodrazor,

i'm looking at your match history and you only had a ninja tabi for armor lol. also it's probably not the best idea to take warlord's on rek'sai.

edit: nevermind wrong game lol. if you're talking about your shyvana game then you must have taken literally every ability, including his ult and his passive for him to "oneshot" you.

also he did have both black cleaver and lord dominik's.

You are referring to your recent Shyvana game, correct?

Shyvana item 3111 item 3748 item 3022 item 3068 item 3742 item 3078 Zed item 3142 item 3814 item 3147 item 3156 item 3071 item 3036

Zed had 6 completed offensive items while you only had ~200 armor. He had three lethality items, Black Cleaver, Lord Dominik's Regards and potentially Lethality runes.

Also, Zed had 33 kills. He would have been full build long before anyone else in the game and have been easily able to kill anyone with fewer items due to sheer gold advantage.

And if you'd bother using your head for half a second, you'd realize he was fed out of his goddamn ass.

A tank could probably oneshot the damn ADC if the tank was 33 kills/assists while the ADC was just average.

And this isn't even to say about anything YOU did horribly wrong probably.

Technically, you were still a single item down late-game. He had 6 completed offensive items while you had 5 completed items + Mercury Treads.

I'm assuming you sold your jungle item (either Bloodrazor or Cinderhulk) for Trinity Force. I would generally recommend selling your boots instead since Trinity Force (and Phantom Dancer) provides movement speed.

While Tenacity is useful against Rammus' E and Fiddlesticks' Q, those were the only abilities it really helped against and boots aren't very slot efficient late-game.

I was being CC locked in every teamfight and silenced every teamfight, so the boots felt like a must in game :/

Generally, you are probably better off with the more slot-efficient option for optimal strength.

You have to adjust your playstyle slightly to account for the lack of tenacity, but you are far stronger in actual fights stat-wise.

Having another item which provides damage/mobility (i.e. Phantom Dancer, Bloodrazor), durability (i.e. Randuin's Omen) or utility (i.e. Guardian Angel, Zz'rot Portal) can be massive.

Actually... it's really not.

Point blank AoE linear skillshot - near impossible to miss

Slightly above melee range AoE spin - impossible to miss

Auto attacks - Impossible to miss.

Zed's combo isn't hard to land.

Whereas you throw yourself bodily into the enemy and mass all of your buttons with only your E having to even kind of be aimed in the general direction of where your enemy is.

Whereas Zed's ult/engage isn't even a skillshot, and when you appear you mash E, Q, and right click with your mouse over your opponent, perhaps throwing down a W a single inch in front of you, and then press R again once you think your ult damage will kill them. Or not.

What timing?

If he mashes his face on the keyboard he will hit you with his E and Q the moment he comes out of his R.

In fact, it's comical when a Zed does miss his shuriken.

There's no aiming either. He's teleported right next to you.

Except they don't need to hold their Q - their ult puts them in the perfect spot to spam it instantly.

Also, most champions can't oneshot me from 75% health as a tanky duelist without me getting through 400 of theirs first.

Zed didn't even try to kite. Also, phage passive doesn't do shit against a ghost+chilling smite+bork+dead mans plate+frozen mallet Shyvana.

slightly above melee range aoe spin - accounts for about 30-40 percent of his dmg, and its still a cd you can capitalize on with a decent amount of energy it needs

auto attacks - ur a bruiser whos one ability that takes timing is an auto reset, shut up

zeds combo is hard to land on a competent player, not very hard to land and kill someone when they think they can walk up to a 33 zed with armor pen AND lethality

He ults you and is right next to you.

When someone is right next to you, they usually hit their skillshots. You're also the first to be hit by it and it doesn't go through any units.

You act like most tanks get more than 200-250 armor. Which they do, if their job is to tank and disrupt with their CC, or if they have mana and can buy a Frozen Heart. Both of which... aren't shyv.

Yeah, and I think that's a problem too. Tanks don't get enough armor, so lethality is destroying them. On the other hand, ADC's get much less armor pen, so they find it even tougher to kill tanks.
