PSA For adcs

Number 1: Tell your Support to take heal, and more importantly, let your support take heal.

New grievous wound mechanics and, if they have it, windspeaker's, make heal stronger when it's on the support rather than you. If you insist that you can't trust your support, then don't. Trust yourself to exhaust the right people. Trust yourself to make good use of ignite, or if you're really feeling vulnerable, take barrier or ghost.

Number 2: Get blue trinket

It bothers me immensely, as a support, when I see that nobody will take item 3363. I have to take it every time, and then hope my jungler or other laners will pick up red trinket and that they alone will be enough. Hell, I need to take it no matter what lane I'm in because no one else does. Adcs benefit the most from it, seeing as how it also doubles as a scouting tool, so please take it.

Why is blue trinket so important? Well, let me put it this way: You can literally have every bush in your entire jungle warded with it at once. I've done so several times before. Blue trinkets give infinite vision wards, for free, have less than half the cooldown of yellow trinket, more than 6 times the cast range, and most importantly have no upper limit. SPAM IT! These things make vision wards feel cost-inefficient (which they are not!) with how much vision control you can get on your side of the map. Blue trinket single-handedly carries out the function of an entire team's worth of defensively placed vision wards, (or more) all for free, and reliably, from a safe/convenient distance, and can still be further used offensively. In my opinion it's the strongest trinket right now.

If you think you'll have inadequate stealth wards, then tell your support or even the rest of your team to take care of it. Sightstone isn't a mandatory support item for nothing, and if your support isn't keeping dragon or baron (past a certain point) warded, then something is wrong.

Point 1 would be great if supports actually followed you around the whole game. However, there are a number of supports that don't believe they need to support their ADC after laning phase. Heal is much more valuable on ADCs than exhaust when there isn't a Katarina on their team. It doesn't just heal, it gives you a speed boost away. If you exhaust someone, your exhaust was pretty much wasted when they flash onto you and attack once it's over.

And also, it's nice that in some high elo the rest of the team will ward for you, but in low elo they won't. You ward yourself or there are not wards. The blue trinkets can be taken out with one hit and can't be TP'd on. If the enemy team cares at all, you will not have any vision control with blue trinket.

Basically, I like yellow trinket and heal. lol.

I like to grab Heal when I'm Soraka and I have them pick up Barrier or Exhaust, but on anything else I never do that. The ADC having Heal is good because the Support is not expected to be near him at all times.
