Talon's new E is cool and all...

I know it may be much, but can we add an indicator of the path Talon's E will go over a wall if we click E on it? Even from afar? Because it feels really clunky otherwise and it would help to make his gameplay much more readable by his players.

Tbh I'm 100% certain his E will fall into the category of skills we hate playing against (Yasuo's E/W, Riven's kit in general, etc)

Riot just need to put a CD on his E, the problem is not that he can jump over a wall, the problem is that he can jump over 3~4 walls before you even have time to react. Or they could just make it like Aurelio Sol, and won't let he jump over the wall if he is in combat, that way he has mobility on the Jungle, is easy to set up ganks, but at the same time doesn't allow him to get out of every chase.

He needs to use it incombat to invade jgl, otherwise he won't have enough cc/gapclosing to kill enemy jgler

it has a 2 second CD. To jump over 3-4 walls he need 4-6 seconds. Definitely "before you even have time to react" :p (just joking around, don't take it badly)

I don't know why they just don't change the way E is gated altogether. Give it a mana cost, and do-away with the wall CD. Give his roaming a cost so that he's susceptible to going OOM if he decides to abuse it. The CDR on-walls also just feels bad for the Talon player and makes his mobility feel needlessly restricted.

Free mobility spells have ALWAYS been an issue (Riven, Yasuo, Nidalee).

Agreed. Give it a longer CD (5s?) and give it a decent mana cost. The whole wall cd thing is pretty silly.

I disagree. Giving it a longer CD would make it feel like shit as you wouldnt be able to fluidly go from wall to wall. Giving it a mana cost would make it almost ruin his entire kit as the cost would either have to be big enough to where talon wouldn't even be able to function without building mana, which would dumpster him further and he'd end up oom before he even gets to his destination to fight, or so low that it might as well not exist, and it seems Riot opted for the latter.

This system adds layers of depths and mastery for the Talon player, as you have to pick and choose which walls , where and when to jump as opposed to using it mindlessly and being or being SoL because u dared actually use of of your 3 basic spells for its intended purpose.

Don't worry talon will be nerfed into uselessness by the second patch cycle.

Waaaaay too much early roaming, way too little risk. We'll see him go the way of Taliyah

I may not play Talon nor have any intentions to do so, but I agree. The better the game is for one person, the better for all assuming that one person isn't a troll that lives off of the suffering of others.

TBH his E needs a CD.

300 Second CD on the same terrain. I thought it was super broken at first but the way Riot grouped the terrain makes each block really big. So it's not really as OP as you'd think because each time you leap a LARGE chunk of terrain is put on CD.

Bouffon dAnglais1 votes

is it static 300 sec?

Zerenza1 votes

Yes it doesn't scale with CDR or Runes and only get's changed three times as he levels up i think it's 150 s at max level so it's not the busted. Basically if i came at you from one side he can't leave from that side too and i think that makes it balanced, wish it had a small cooldown on the ability cast too though but oh well.

morris11 votes

It's 160/135/110/85/60 seconds and reduced by CDR.

Zerenza1 votes

Fairly sure that it isn't reduced by CDR or that they changed to not be recently.

Edit: The person who worked on it said in a live stream that it probably won't be by time it reaches live server's.

Ziovi1 votes

no, it's 160/135/110/85/60 seconds.

Wtf? It's 160/135/110/85/60 seconds and reduced by CDR.

Should just be an indicator on the ground where he'll land that only he can see.

Could just look like a blue on my way ping

This. Also, if it's op, maybe Rito could give it 30 seconds CD per wall so he can't hop in, kill you and hop out, but it doesn't make it suck so much to realize you've wasted a jump by giving it a mana cost so he can't just spam it and increase the CD to like 4-5s?

Du Namar Aurboda1 votes

There already is a CD for individual pieces of terrain.

DarkSunSovereign1 votes

I meant reduce it to 30. I guess I didn't clarify that very well. I will now.

Primaquarius1 votes

Its roughly 150s from the beta vid, but hopefully its not too high or too low

I think you're right his e feels clunky for an assassin at least. I think he should get the bard e kinda indicator.
