I'm silver 5 right now, but I REALLY want the victorious Orianna skin. She's one of my main champs and it's so pretty! If I start playing lots of ranked games, so you think it would be possible to get to gold in a month so I can get it?

but i play in NA and there are 1,600,000 ranked players while only 200,000 in oceania, so ranking up is probably much faster. so you will be able to reach gold 5 only if you really are a gold player. but the fact that you are silver 5 shows that you arent in the first place
league isnt about grinding, no matter how many games you play, you wont go up if you dont improve.

woodvsmurph1 votesDepends on how often you win AND how many games you played this season in ranked. more games already played -> harder to climb lower win percentage -> harder to climb
It can be done IF somehow you've say... made massive improvements from where you were at when you ranked to your current elo. But otherwise, if you've spent the whole season playing, you are probably where you belong. No guarantee, but PROBABLE.
Finally, the very start and end of the season tends to have some of the most lopsided performances - with rampant boosting and people playing like boosted bonobos (as NB3 would put it). This tends to make it extra difficult to climb unless you have a booster or a duo with you to play around. *disclaimer - I am in no way recommending or condoning boosting. I think it's horrible, pathetic, and it screws over everyone involved in the long run - leading to crappier matchmaking for everyone which turns into higher frustration and toxicity.
Automated Riven1 votesIf your good you can hit diamond from bronze in like 50 games. If your silver 5 elo and your in silver five it's more a question of how fast you can improve.
Bobloser35551 votesI climbed from B2 to S5 in a few days on my other account. My guess would be if you play at G4 level you could make it in less than 4 weeks for sure. But if you play at G5 level you need to play a lot and a bit of luck to make it in 4 weeks I think.
