Pyke is far worse designed than Akali and has always been more ban worthy.

Reset True damage ult that puts a fully stacked Darius passive charged ult to shame and rarely seems to miss is likely the biggest thing.

The 2 things I could most see most immediately needing removal is the 90% slow on his Q and the stun on his E since they make it effectively impossible for him to ever miss his ult.

Too much of his power is loaded into his ult and if one person flashes it (and in any good elo people will consistently flash it - often you’ll see Pykes use their ult to gapclose+ damage - because they’re forced to build lethality anyways so the true damage execute isn’t as important).

He falls off a cliff late game but the game usually doesn’t get that far. He’s overtuned right now, and his kit is pretty annoying - but at the same power level Akali is way more cancer.

Disagree, Pyke's entire teamfight presence can be entirely shut down by one missed ability and has way more counters than Akali. He also has no health pool, so certain abilities and champions can outright one shot him at any point of the game.
