Since morde is meant to recieve a relaunch in the future

I think that it could be a nice thing to discuss what people are expecting from morde

the things we know is that riot doesnt want to give him any sort of hard mobility or hard cc ... so slows and ms bootst are allowed

but what i would like for morde to become is a champion who feels similar to sion ... since both of those guys seem to have that sheer power in their theme that and for riot to just evolve his theme

the thing that i jizz over is for morde to have an ability like king leoric from heroes from the storm (never played the game but saw some youtube video off him) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLESGgjzd9I&t=2m12s

a big mace calls for a big swing

what would you like to see on the relaunched mordekaiser ... more mace bashes ... more magic ... or maybe the newly introduced magnetism (i personaly want all 3 since they can blend together realy nice)?

i told you my mace fantasy so post yours

I think Riot should scrap the new PBE Mordekaiser rework, until they have the time to do a Sion-level change and properly think it out

The new rework for Morde feels rushed, and tries to put two gimmicks into his kit [duo lane XP and dragon ghost] which just don't fit when he also has two already [champion ghost and shield from damage]

Plus it makes him OP with a good team and shit with a bad team, which effectively banishes him from soloqueue

STOP THE CERTAINLYT CHANGES. THEY ARE BAD FOR MORDEKAISER. HE WILL BE PICK/BAN, THEN NERFED AFTER.

The rework is happening anyway

Only if we let it dude. We can't let them make Morde broken with this new rework.

unfortunately our power is as big as riot wants it to be

hmm, what youre asking seems more like an improvement to his animations than to his gameplay. his q already has the increasingly more powerful swings.

the only thing thats kindof missing is actually make it look threatening.

imo they should get rid of his e, and give him something else in its place. then give the mace aoe swings in front of him with increasing damage. they could do the same theyre doing now with garen and have the single target damage the same he has now on his mace on the pbe, and slightly reduced aoe damage when he hits multiple opponents.

it would be more interesting if he syngerized with items like the new titanic hydra that would give him improved waveclear and more damage on the q+ an aoe effect. etc.

i feel like his e is the ability that makes the least sense for a heavy melee brute. poking at range like a mage just doesnt fit into the entire theme. at least not like this.

he should have something like sions e in its place. a tool to set him up so he can walk into range and start smacking.

well as i said ... i would like him to feel more sion-like

it might not be as much as a change to his animations ... but giving his skills some additional power due to some charge time or other stuff

the video i posted shows the guy who becomes "unstoppable" (olafed) and swings for a certain time in a certain direction

i think that by making mordekaiser charge his abilities or lock himself into hitting only in a certain direction ... its possible to free more space in his powerbudget and give him good damage on top of some better utility on his spells ... thats the magic of sion ... he is a tank who deals satysfying damage, this makes him realy enjoyable to play

the thing that is the most problematic is his ultimate ... the ghost is something that is unpredictable ... there is no saying how powerful it will be because its power is relative to enemy power but i dont have any idea for his ult

actually, thats something i thought they might rather be able to do to riven. force her to execute all 3 of her swings into the same direction or on the spot, instead of being able to turn. she has a similar theme of swinging her sword with brute force rather than finesse.

and shes one of those champions who needs a specific weakness to play around by restricting her mobility, similar to how they restricted yasuos mobility.

what riven needs as a first thing ... it to make her less of a feast or famine champion

the only problem that she seems to demonstrate is that either her strengts make it impossible to exploit her weaknesses ... or other way around

I've actually seen quite a few people build the new morde as a tanky AD champ of sorts and do pretty well in top lane; the third hit of his Q just does SO MUCH damage, watched it take nearly half of Riven's health with only a longsword fairly early in the game.

Its a shame his W is completely useless outside of duo laning (or the occasional ganks).

I think his dragon ghost is a good idea as well tbh (it fits with his theme of forcing the souls of others to serve him, like in his lore).

That all said, I really dislike essentially forcing Morde into a duo lane.

I feel the answer is to lower his base AS a bit and have his AD at 61 [which I think it is in the rework]. This will make his mace look more impactful, like Sion's axe.
