@RiotRepertoir Some Concerns/Ideas on Malzahar Update that you probably didn't answer

Hello! I write this post because I missed the chance to answer in time on the post in Dev Corner, I hope to be read here. Being a Malz main and lover since season 1 I was waiting so much for a discussion to start! I agree with most of what you (RiotRep) have said in the Op and in the answers, and you've cleared most of my doubts, so I'll just talk about 4 thoughts you could consider:

  1. The Q: Thx to his huge impact in damage and cc, Call of the Void is one of the spell that gives me most satisfaction in the entire game. The feel when I hit the skillshot and I hear that eerie sound is one of the best moments in playing malza. Please don't remove it or change it too much.

  2. The Ult, maybe I'm a bit off the choir, but I'm not scared of losing the current R. I've always see him a control/aoe mage more than a duelist, and I think with the great theme Malza has, he could do something more scary that simply blocking in place one single enemy. Why not make it an aoe spell or a portal that summons (even only as a visual effect) the equivalent of Chtulu from the Void? It would also link with his current affinity with pets.

  3. I read that you want to make him less vulnerable, so why not bond his defence with his voidling, something like that if the voidling is alive, malza gets a shield, or some of the damage is redirected to the voidling or that they defend him every time he is attacked?

  4. Also Please improve his attack animation and E's ticks of damage. Seriously, so many cs I missed for those!
