What if more Marksman had ammo?

I noticed people often mention Jhin and Graves as being some of the most fun marksmen, as their Ammo systems give them greater depth and allow their kit and basic attacks to have more power and utility. I also noticed people love playing Ezreal, the marksman who mainly uses spell casts to boost his damage. Even passives like Lucian's are good because he doesn't get his full DPS without using abilities correctly.

What if we made more Marksmen have some form of reload/ammo/resource system for their primary attacks? Would people like this, yay or nay? It surely would make Marksmen less right clicky. And in return would give them more power budget.

Personally I like the ammo system, but I don't think Riot should use it again without making it very unique from the other two.

Like making the actual champion resource be their ammo or something. Possibly making a manaless marksmen through it.

It needs to stay a niche mechanic. Having limited ability to auto-attack as a marksman forces Riot to load more power into the kit elsewhere. We don't need more overloaded kits in League.

I don't think every adc should get an ammo system, but I think a few others could benefit from it thematically and gameplay-wise.

Jinx with a really large magazine and long reload so she has to balance between her machine gun, rocket launcher, and abilities. Caitlyn with just one bullet that has really high impact. Maybe Corki, but I can't think of anything special for him.

Draven could have just 2 axes, but he can "reload" by catching an ace - he could attack twice quickly, but can't attack again unless he catches an axe or does a short reload after he misses them. It could be pretty cool, his "reload" could be more axes dropping from the skies while an audience cheers.

Miss Fortune could have separate ammo for each gun. She attacks with whichever side is closest to the target, and each side has a separate interval between attacks ( if she shot with her right gun, it would be 1 second before she could shoot with that gun again, but her left gun can still shoot - but only at targets on her left. She would have to turn to get the original target in range.). Love Tap would proc each time a target was hit by a different gun (optimal damage and attack speed comes from alternating shots - left, right, left, right). She reloads only after both guns run out or her passive movespeed boost activates. She would have to position herself correctly and move the right way to maximize her attack speed and get her Love Tap off. And, if she shot just one gun too much, she could be left in a bad position.

Ammo just further accentuates the "ADCs burst too much!!" meme.

Both Graves and Jhin are bursty because of their ammo system - dump a load and reload.

Not only that, but it helps newer players not learn how to effectively kite without sacrificing DPS.

Hard pass.

i was thinking it might be cool if Caitlyn had a single shot rifle. AS still increases her attack speed, but it does it by increasing her reload speed. This might cause even more balance problems for her though so idk.

Eh, not all have ammo but I think they should all have unique auto attacks in some way. Like making Tristana's E passive always cause damage to nearby enemies, not just after killing a unit, or make Cait have even higher auto range but super shit attack speed and have her autos be dodgeable when used from longer ranges.

I'll go into more detail once I get off of work.

We can't give all marksmen ammo, but more ammo based champions can't hurt.

Graves has been complained about for how long now? A staple in the jungle for how long now? Nerfed how many times with compensation?

Jhin?? You mean the 56% win rate 20% play rate at one point before insta-nerfed adc?

Anyone who says Jhin is ''fine'' has so many fucking problems. Jhin has been disgusting since release.

How do you feel about Quinn 's passive?; since it also needs her to use abilities correctly for full dps.
