to the dedicated ranked players i have some questions

• how much did you improve in comparison to last season/ANYTHING change about your play style?
• Did you climb to what division you wanted?
• how did the meta affect your champion pool?
• what are you going to change for next season?

I'd like to read some** dedicated ranked players** thoughts on this season.

For me, i peaked d5, and ended p1. Basically climbed 1 division in an entire season. My overall winrate on sion went up to 56 percent over 857 games, and i improved my KDA this season.

i dont think this meta favored sion that much, so i dont think i was too affected by a lot. Still had to deal with the broken as fuck tanks and lived through the ardent stuff which is fine i guess. But i'd say overall i improved a lot in terms of finding a play style and ganking a lot more.

i ALSO noticed that i open mid a lot more than i used to. Before i'd play until the death, but this season i've had multiple leaverbusters from open mids. If 1 player goes afk i straight up tell the team to open mid because i don't play 4 v 5's. 4 v 5's were nearly impossible to win this season.

Things im going to change/keep this coming season:

• -Still going to open mid when team is down 8-10k gold
• -Going to play sion still but i like ornn a bit more now. I think i'm way better at sion but i like how ornn feels, and theyre visually similar so it doesnt feel so bad.
• -i'll be dodging a lot more champ selects/looking at opgg of my teammates. Never considered doing that this season and i've lost a lot of games from having obvious boosted/offrole players
• -level 3 gank top/mid. I think i'm going to try something where i focus on top/mid lane more this season. Tired of the paranoia bot lane gave me this season.
