I don't want to ask, but can sion get a damage buff?

He has a lot of damage, but it's very avoidable and with the new lack of sunfire damage, many tanks still lack enough damage to be impactful.

Now I know people will quote winrates, and champions like Galio and the triple doran's situation, but it just seems that I can't do enough to b a threat on my own and for someone with a 1.95 total ad ratio in their kit that's pretty pathetic.

Can we revert the shield cooldown buff and instead increase the ad ratio on sion's q to 70-210 total ad? The shield buff doesn't help him early which is where his strength really lies, because of its still massive mana cost where as the ad ratio helps him in early mid game where he can either make better use of his base ad or ad items, before falling off because he is incredibly unreliable.

Is this ok? Is this a thing we can do?

Can he not? If Sion needs anything its a passive rework. His base kit is just fine, though he does have excessively high mana costs.

you can always just build some damage item 3142

He has enough. More durability is what he could use.

I don't ever feel non durable as sion, I feel as though I don't have an impact on laning phase anymore between the sunfire nerfs and buffs to lifesteal.

I have come across a build which has worked so far, which is RG into Titanic giving you all of the stats you need for early laning. Hp, cdr, mana, ad, armour, and additional wave clear and duelling power to boot.

You then itemize into some resist items like deadmans/randuins or spirit visage/abyssal helm and then stoneplate as a fourth item and grab the other item last.

If you fall behind, which I haven't thus far but assume I will, you complete the RG the build into jarums fist and sit on it. Build another defence item and if you don't go even again sell jarums. If you go even build titanic.

The active change to RG isn't as bad as people think actually, because the item now serves well as an escape because of the 75% slow to anyone around you in addition to its potential engage factor.

I'm going to keep trying this and hoping it works out.

Also in this build I start doran's shield and max q > w > e to make your main source of damage, q, more damaging.

I hope a build similar to this becomes meta viable, because I think it will be.
