When is Riot going to buff Singed?

Obviously one of the worst top laners in the game with a worthless passive. Only champ that doesn't have either a real gap closer or some way to hit enemies from Ranged so he just gets kited.

Why should I spend time getting better at Singed when I can play anyone else?

Singed nearly always has a couple viable cheese strats.

He was meta in competetive not too long ago, has a decent winrate and a great winrate considering his /games played.

The last time he was meta in competitive play was in season 3 before his tenacity removal on his ultimate. His time picked in competitive play lasted for a couple weeks before they realized he was just bad and the meta changed, plus it was just for going vs tanks.

His winrates actually very bad considering his games played, because it's almost all by people who main him. Lower playrate should increase winrate by default and singeds play rate is very low (with a negative winrate anyways).

He still had a 50% winrate in competetive in this season and didn't get nerfed since.

You might want to think that, but it's just not true. Lower playrate does not necessarily mean high avg. played. Riven has a high playrate but among the highest avg. games played.

Proof: http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/singed Only beginners do not perform with Singed, everyone else does super well. Asking for buffs is ridiculous, he just isn't the most popular of all champions.

Lower playrate has been shown to increase winrate always, when new players decided to try out Singed just because he was picked a couple of times during LCS his overall winrate instantly went down something like 3%. Low playrate and 50% winrate = bad, extremely high playrate and 50%+ winrate = overpowered.

Super well? There's ONE player above low masters on singed who's on a server that isn't terrible and he's ex rank 1 KR on support elise, one of the absolute best players in the world, since he's playing singed he's way lower rank than he would have been and almost dropped out of challenger earlie (like all of the other singed mains who dropped out of masters/challenger).

That data also takes includes players whos winrate aren't really relevant to how good he is in high elo (gold to d5)

Not having a direct nerf doesn't mean he hasn't had indirect nerfs through mastery changes, item changes, meta change etc. His winrates been getting worse patch after patch all season, with barely being even the last patch.

His Singed WR is higher than his winrate with anything else so I highly doubt that. It's Singed who keeps him in at 600 LP challenger.

Then just go ahead and change from g+ to d+. And BOOM his winrate rose to 51%. Then take a look at WR/games played and you will realize that Singed players have a phenomenal performance right now. You got competetive play, super high elo on the best server, great performance in dia+ on all servers, great performance for somewhat experienced players across the board...

And yet you complain.

Singed is inherently better in KR solo queue because they do far more early team fights than any other server (Singed's absolute strongest point), and also give up easily (Singed falls off super hard late). KR solo queue meta is way better for Singed, you could not do that in NA or EUW.

He was rank 1 KR last season with a poor pick, Singed doesn't keep him in challenger.

Singed hasn't been meta since S3, being a niche pick for 2 weeks vs only 2 or 3 champions doesn't change that. He doesn't get competitive play. He's not really good in solo queue either considering compared to the dozens of Riven mains in masters (and 5+ in challenger) singed has 3 players in masters and 1 in challenger.

Okay, you are constantly shifting your point. Who are you talking about? Who is underperforming with Singed? At which elo is Singed too weak and which region are you talking about?

Tell me who is underperforming and cite statistics that prove that. Seeing how you completely ignored my statistics regarding dia+ performance I am super excited to see you proving your point.

Every high elo singed main is underperforming with Singed compared to their skill level. SInged is underperforming on KR/NA/EUW (but he's better on KR than the later two).

With how many relatively high elo singed mains there are (D3-D1) there should be far more in masters and at least a couple more in challenger. As it is once you hit D2/D1 and get to play vs actually good players he's pretty terrible.

I don't know why you're trying to use stats as an end all be all when there have been champions that are absolutely game breakingly overpowered even when they had ~42-43% winrate (like Ryze before). Similarly, there have several times been champions who were 55-56% winrate even when not mained who aren't even good. Winrate doesn't mean everything, playrate is generally a much more important stat (at least in high elo).

If Singed was anywhere near as good as you say he would be picked by people who don't main him in high elo or comp, but he never is.

Where does high elo start in your opinion?

Based on how Lehends' Singed winrate changed from S6 so S7 this seems like a weird thing to say. Furthermore, he doesn't have any champion that performs better than his Singed, so objectively seen his Singed performance is better than his overall skill level aside from Singed.

With how many relatively high elo singed mains there are (D3-D1) there should be far more in masters and at least a couple more in challenger. As it is once you hit D2/D1 and get to play vs actually good players he's pretty terrible.

Firstly, this is pretty much based on what you say. "there should be far more in masters" has absolutely 0 backup and you just made that claim with seemingly no evidence. The existence of many Singed mains in D3-D1.. Could be indicative of him being OP aswell, maybe they just deserve D5?

Secondly, not every champion needs to perform very well in high challenger. So even if your claim was true, there is no doubt that he is performing well in gold+ and very well in dia+ - as proven by statistics which means that he can't be buffed.

But again, Lehends performing that well on the best server is really bad for your argument, unless you really think that he couldn't hit 600LP in EUW/NA... Keep in mind that Goldenglue is constantly super high challenger in NA but can't even hold 300LP masters in KR.

I don't know what you really have against Singed so much anyways, considering he's just about Riven's easiest matchup possible if you know how to play it in the slightest.

I don't hate Singed at all. When I came in I saw your claim, thought it was pretty weird, looked the statistics up and found out that it seems that evidence is stacked against your hypothesis.

I don't know why you're trying to use stats as an end all be all when there have been champions that are absolutely game breakingly overpowered even when they had ~42-43% winrate (like Ryze before).

Ryze actually had a pretty good winrate (56%) for those who were experienced - which is why I always value winrate/games played the highest. Also, he was super good in competetive. And Singed not being meta in competetive right now is far from proof for him being UP - he isn't really typical for what usually is played in competetive (generally either reliable and/or high mechanical skill champions - Singed is neither) which makes it even weirder that he was viable at one point.
