Rek'Sai's new ultimate is way too easy to dodge.

I love the idea behind it. Being this landshark who dive bombs a single target, dealing a killing blow after they've burned all their escapes. However I do believe there is an issue with it's hitbox. It's WAY too easy to dodge.

And I'm not even talking about characters using flash or whatever, I mean like, there have been times when I'll ult on a target who's standing still and they'll just click to the side at the last second and dodge it. Not even using any mobility moves. They'll just flat out avoid it.

And for a move that's supposed to be a killing blow and dives you in super hard, you need it to be a little more reliable. One time I would ult on a super low target and they'd just dodge it with ease and then their team would just collapse on me without me being able deliver the killing blow on their squishy. For a move that puts you in a fairly dangerous position, it needs to be a lot more reliable. Otherwise, it's more of a detriment than anything else.

The issue is RNG Point-Click Ability, that should NEVER be a thing.

I agree. It doesn't feel consistent at all!

Mostly from how easy it is to dodge right now. They'll probably amp up the leap time to fix it. That being, make it faster.

I pray so. RNG makes stuff hard to balance, cause inconsistent numbers output.

I saw on someone else post about his ult that they will be increasing the hit box of it

It's not really RNG, but yeah, it's something you can't outplay someone with, only the opponent outplaying you.

Nah It is RNG, because unlike a skillshot you can't do anything to help make it land. Just gotta pray that it lands once you click the enemy and they don't sidestep, it's out of your control.

However unlike other RNG things like for ex. crit, you can't have a chance to use it enough to make the RNG pay off

If it's different from other RNG, then it's statistically and literally not RNG.

It IS rng though since it's uncontrollable. By different I meant that other RNG are more dealable or acceptable because you can keep trying to get the payout out of it. EX. crit which you have many AAs to try for.

Stop trying to find a dumb way to say it isn't, when it's obviously is. Uncontrollable effect whether it be input or output=RNG.(Crit is currently the only output RNG that is tolerable tbh but even then there is a mechanic becoming more and more popular which could finally rework crit overall for.)

And rek'sai current has an RNG output ultimate, which unlike crit you aren't using it constantly in less than half a second to make worthwhile.

... But it is controllable.

By your opponent, but still. It's completely deterministic, which makes it literally not RNG.

They've acknowledged the fact in the Patch Thread, and have commented that there may be a bit "too much counterplay", which one can assume as it'll be fixed.

Oh really?! Sweet! :D

My prediction: they'll give it a short stun like Lee Sin's kick so it always hits, lower the damage, then sit back and watch people complain about the mini stun.

Here's my experience with it. An elise "dodged" the ult back walking back TOWARDS the point where i ulted from.

And yet every time I've seen it it always hits my adc. Can anyone explain this?? How is it supposed to work if it's easy to dodge?

Did you expected a good rework from riot that makes sense? I dont remember that happening since YEARS. Excepting the WW rework
