It literally doesn't instantly pop, it takes 1.1 seconds to arm? Why are you complaining about Caitlyn's traps compared to literally other actual instant hard CC?

It has a fucking arm time, and you should never be caught by it being thrown under you.

The only way you're getting rooted if she places it under you are if you're already CC'd or are AFK. Unless, for whatever reason, you just decide to not move.

In all of my games I’ve probably been caught by a cait trap unknowingly 10 times. Every time I’ve stepped on it was because I wanted to or the cait was pretty skilled and did the E W combo.

Seems less "skill" to me and more "exploiting a bug".
