This game should have 5 bans each

The new champ select gives the bottom 3 players a chance to ban one champion - there's no reason it can't be extended to the top two as well other than "meh, we don't feel like it."

I think it's more that by increasing the ban number, they'd be admitting that the game is not in a healthy place and requires more bans just to remove some of the toxicity. We all know how prideful Riot is in their decisions so I wouldn't look forward to it, but rather just keep hoping they see reason at some point.

agreed. this game is too big. there's too many champions. It would make picking champions MUCH more dynamic. we can ban the SAME OLD champions being picked every game. It will open up more diversity to games.

So, like, each person gets 5 bans? So you can only pick from half of the champion pool?

5ban each here the result of every ranked game.. Mundo, gangplank, elise, graves, malphite, poppy, shen, tahm kench, zed, kindred.

I'd support this. Only drawback I see is that the pick phase will take a bit longer.

4 bans each is completely perfect.

People complain about how long Pick/Ban takes already... why make it longer?

Nope, less bans. Individual champions aren't the problem, there's always another one that does a slighter worse job of what you want from the original. Maybe there'll be one whose kit fits into the meta a little too well but you can always ban or (gasp) counterpick for that one.

Every player gets a ban. Should be a simple concept to put in place and see how it is on PBE.

I didn't want to upvote this thread because at the time of my post, it was currently sitting at 69 upvotes. Unfortunately, I had to do it for the greater good. This is in hopes that Riot will notice. Don't let this upvote be in vain.

That is ridiculous. 10 bans in total?? That's like 1/12 of the entire champion pool. I can see 4, but not 5
