Do older champions that aren't reworked ever receive updated Voicelines?

This came to notice rather randomly, in my opinion. Voicelines are incredibly awesome and give the champion that ingame depth that makes them so unique which is why i love all the work put into it. But sometimes i feel rather dissapointed in the case where new champions are released in the sense that most new specific quotes only go one way.

For example when Warwick was reworked. The champion interactions from him to others have changed, but the interactions others give to him are the same, as far as i am concerned. and in cases like with camille where there could be some interesting interactions i find myself cringing with this shortcoming replacement that is a Taunt response.

Maybe i am wrong and just did not pay enough attention, but incase that i do strike a point somewhere, i would very much appreciate it if riot would keep track of some champion-voicelines and update them here and there. (And no, this isn't an obligatory rammus joke)

Only on a legendary/ultimate skin I believe.

Should have seen that coming...the marketing stuff. ya, it's bad but i didn't foresee it is that bad

It's sort of marketing, but some of it is costs. You've got to write lines, get a recording studio booked, bring in people to record it all, hire the VA, and edit it all before you can put it in the game.

For older champs on the VGU list, riot really doesn't want to spend the money if the champ is going to get substantially changed in the foreseeable future.

Maokai and Lux did

Because their whole lore was reworked. i meant champs who's sole additional change is a new champ coming out. for example, urgot and swain. only urgot got new lines to him, swain has as far as i am concerned no new dialogues for urgot

But Swain is being reworked next after Evelynn ...

My point being, would he not get a rework he'd never receive a voiceline update.

Well, bringing back the voice actor/actress for each region of a champion simply for Soraka to have a special interaction with Aurelion Sol seems rather expensive for a very conditional novelty.

Mordekaiser has lost voicelines and has not had any added over the course of his 7 years of being a Champion. But Riot hates him so it's ok I guess

its ok fiddle has went from sayings "Are you afraid" to saying "i'm Afraid". Its cool bro they will just rework Azir Ryze 800 times and say see we did 800 reworks for AP champs.....
