I'd rather people choose a champ they are familiar with over worrying about counters. Every champion you listed has a backup plan to unfavorable matchups. At worst those champions can still farm against them just fine and they win the trade against him if he is stupid enough to dive them.

P.S.: No one should be touching Zoe or Syndra if they do not play them, those are not easy champions to jump into right off the bat.
