Jannas kit, by design, is not broken. Shes just overpowered at this moment.

By design, her kit does have obvious weaknesses. Its just the fact shes so overtuned right now with Coin and Ardent that shes overpowered. Once the Ardent nerf goes through, im positive her winrate will start to go back to normal. That may not fix it entirely, but Ardent was a huge factor to her being op.

Tldr: dont complain about her design, complain about her numbers and items. Or just dont complain at all and make informed posts about why you think shes op ;D

Yes it is. She has 2 different hard CC abilities that have no counterplay at melee range and her E also has no counterplay given it's long duration and short CD.

They are nerfing her at the same time too, which we have seen happen to much. Lucian got nerfed when the item that made him "busted" was too. Now he is sitting at the 3rd lowest winrate of ADC's. The same thing might happen to her too.

Yeah, I think that hitting items is good usually when it effects lots of stuff like this one does, but they need to stop the double nerfing of stuff. (or try to find the correct nerf the first time, RIP Cait)

Anyways, more seriously about Cait,

They kept hitting her with a nerf stick over and over until shes at the 44% winrate shes at now. Everyone asked for trap enrfs which were the problem in the first place. but they nerfed her AS two times, then FINALLY nerfed her traps. Now she just feels terrible to play and really isnt viable anymore.

I could go on and on about Caitlyn, but she, and idk about rengar, i dont play him, need to be looked at again. Its ridiculous to just leave a champion at a 44% winrate. If it were someone like Ori, shed be hotfix buffed most likely.

her kit by design is not broken, but it is toxic. She has a lot of hidden power that can't very well be measured. It's the same as old zilean passive, it couldn't be measured or even noticed easily but it had an effect on the game which is why it got reworked.

Low cd shield for 6 seconds that gives ad and an ultimate that pushes any threat from your precious braindead right clicking adc while also healing him, she is broken just for the fact that adcs are broken and she is the best/one of the best at protecting them.

Did I forget to say that she also requires the least amount of skill out of all the supports?

Her kit does have some inherent problems, there's no denying it. She's been consistently strong for years now, and she's often popped up into pro play and OP status, which should indicate a particularly strong kit if she's never really had downtime. She's never been a bad pick.

Her problem is, her kit is too simple. There's no complexity to it, and simple kits are typically hard to balance because they're volatile. They do extremely well when they're good, and they do extremely bad if they're not. She needs a pretty big VGU, imo, to fix her kit and add some element of complexity to it so she's not such a braindead faceroll champ. They've done it to Soraka and Sona, so it's now Janna's turn.

Shes vulnerable to constant harass in lane. Sure she can shield every like 10 seconds. But after that its basically a 1v2 lane for their adc for trades until jannas shield is up. She does better in all ins since she provides so much peel and cc.

Whatever it is, she is extremely cancerous to play against right now. It's constant OP shielding over and over. Blend that with her already insane peel, slow, heal / knockback ult, and generally easy to use kit, and you have a cancerous support.

It's fully deserved. Janna has singlehandedly made the AD class impossibly difficult to balance through abuse of items, instant shields with huge AD buffs, shields, and speed. She makes the game so miserable to play as a melee.
