After playing vs akali for a few games.. ive realised what would kind of make her more balanced.

what if her q proc didnt last as long on the target? it puts a lot of pressure and the target can never cs. if she qs me i have to wait for it to wear off or else she can just chunk me early. what if it didnt last as long so people could actually fight her when she uses some of her skills?

It's called double proccing.

Riot would never reduce MoTA's duration. Because it would simply remove double-proccing, and Riot never outright removes mechanics like those on champions that is not going to get reworked anytime soon.

Because if her Q proc didn't last as long on targets, you wouldn't be able to wait for the right moment to catch someone out after tagging them in a teamfight and running away, and during the laning phase they wouldn't be scared to come up and harass you since it would fall off long before you'd have another one ready. Keep in mind that her Q mark is the only thing that allows her to survive in the midlane against ranged champions by making them second guess whether that caster minion is REALLY worth it.

yea but seeing as they have no idea what to go on about her champ design im seeing this is still a solution to how broken and downright brain dead she is.

It's a solution, but a bad one. This simply makes her more brain dead. There would be nothing stopping her from just Q -> R, or R -> Q once she is in range.

Double proccing adds depth into Akali. Having to allow her to wait for another 6s requires more planning in advance to get burst damage, instead of just instantly proccing the Q.

You haven't listed any other solutions. You are not going to get much discussion out this. The most obvious one is a skillshot Shadow Dance.

that would just change her entire champ design which is even worse then what i brought up. what about reducing the damage on the proc? or increasing the time of her invisibility going off in her shroud. this would control how many times she can go into her shroud and chill.

Making her reliant on double proccing to achieve burst is a better solution. That would require more setup time and planning to achieve maximum damage output. Less damage on upfront burst Q -> R, but more damage with planning via double proccing. Though, there is a side effect: Her laning is generally unchanged/gets compensated for the less upfront damage, and less upfront damage affects her teamfighting power.

It is interesting. It would make her strengths/weaknesses more apparent and clear to the opponents, allowing better counterplay. On the other hand, it may make her more binary, her being strong in laning, but rubbish in teamfights. I don't know, interesting nonetheless.

Her shroud already got nerfed in 3.5, the re-stealth duration, no free escape bug, etc. And no free resistances anymore as well. Stealth talk is generally shyed away from since League of Legends has a binary stealth system, so any stealth changes are most likely going to be large scale and will not only happen to Akali alone. Let alone, true sight counters her shroud so hard, so the skill has to powerful enough when it is not countered.

Skillshot dash with huge range that has low CD with 3 charges that basically resets on kills and assists....hmm, sounds like a second Kass?

Should get the bugs on Akali fixed first, her Q marked animation is still glitched making it hard to see who is marked.

Her Ultimate stacks suddenly went missing at 4.19, this was added back in on purpose so opponents can keep track how many stacks she has, now you have no idea.
