tanky yasuo is cancer
He still does so much dmg but with his shield that pops up like 3 times in a fight on top of his 3k hp and some resistances he's op as shit.
Also that wall is so broken vs certain team comps.

Tank Yasuo is here to stay I think. It doesn't seem they can stop it once people figured it out.
Yasuo is in a position now like old rengar. Either too OP or too weak. He is currently in a state now where they widdled out a lot of the Top "tank" yasuo's (Frozen Force). If you want to deal a fair amount of damage with Yasuo and proc crits in your ult, you will need PD and IE. So that is 2 items focusing on Yasuo's core kit. The rest can be bruiser or straight on tank. So they can go: Steraks or Frozen, Spirit Vasage, Sunfire/Deadmans/Randuins, and a boot item. Now, youre not going to have 3k health with these items, or if you do, very low 3k. Yasuo needs "damage" in order for him to do something. But in all reality, Tank yasuo lacks attack speed and actual damage. You only get maybe 2 damage items at most (IE and Frozen). In reality, hes not doing a lot of "damage" per say. Hes deals a good amount if damage while being able to absorb a good amount due to the tank stats of the items. He was never meant for tank, but like fizz, akali, zed and ekko, they had a kit that they could still do damage even though they went tank.
Its not tank Yasuo, but just Yasuo in general
