Please for the love of god.. this item actually makes me hate ARAM.. remove it .. when the enemy has healers doing aoe + Aoe damage.. it is not fun.. when it triggers off of anything.. it is not fun.. this game mode has been.. first casters to rush ludens wins.

It doesn't need to be removed, it just needs to proc off magic damage ONLY. Not auto attacks and not stupid snowballs.

Neither of those are supposed to work as far as I can tell. It's only meant to proc off of damage dealt from abilities(excluding AA effects). While you could say summoners also count, ignite doesn't trigger Liandry's.

Ignite does true damage just like the snowballs. So they shouldn't proc.

Luden's procs on spell hit. Not magic damage. Meaning a Jayce Q will proc it.

Liandry's works the same way. In the days of Garen the Gray he would build Liandry's and spin to proc it.

I'm sure Cho's R will also proc it, but not his W. AA enhancers do not count as spell procs. This is why GP's Q does not proc it. It's counted an AA.

Far as I know Ignite does not proc Liandry's. Luden's should not proc off the snowball either. I'm mostly sure it doesn't proc of it either. Same with basic attacks. I've never seen it proc of it.

If you can prove that the snowball or someone's basic attack is procing Luden's put in a bug report.

Not auto attacks and not stupid snowballs.

The only time it would proc off attacks would be if the attack has a spell effect attached (Kayle's E, Bard's passive, Jax's W...)

And the snowballs are summoner spells.

It procs on spell damage, not magic damage. And it's fine that way.

Snowballs do true damage, not magic damage.

So does Cho'gath's Feast.

So does Ahri's Orb of Deception.

So does Ignite.

They're all spells.

There's a difference between spell damage and magic damage.

Spell damage is damage dealt through a spell effect, which is generally considered any ability that requires a key press (Q, W, E, R, D, F, 1-6). The exception is with basic attack modifiers, as those change how a basic attack works, and with spells that apply attack effects (Ezreal's Q, Gangplank's Q, etc.)

Magic damage is damage that is reduced by Magic Resistance. It can be applied through basic attacks or spells, depending on the champion and their items. But most important to note is that not all magic damage applies spell effects.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification.

(I still think it procing off snowballs is BS)
