@Riot: If you had made Ashe today instead of 5 years ago, what would you have done differently?
I feel like you wouldn't have given her so much passive play, for one.
I feel like you wouldn't have given her so much passive play, for one.
Ashe: Passive: Every third auto attack causes a slow/damage aoe.
Q: TOGGLE: Ashe enchants her auto attacks, repetitive attacks to the same target increase slow duration and critical strike chance.
W: Unchanged
E: Ashe animates ice on the terrain, increasing her movement speed and slowing enemies. +Slow/reduced cd from ranks
R: Global arrow, AD + AP ratio.
tl dr: gold/crit stuff is ancient and has no real game impact.
Ashe of Black ice skin colored changed to black so she can elude nerfs due to being called racist if you touch her passive double AA that always crits after the use of volley Q is now 35% slow at level 1 gains 5-10-15-20-25 bonus ad as you level up active 50% attack speed for 8 seconds W changed to work like piercing light cept it spreads like buckshot an doesnt do reduced damage also lowers the cooldown of wings of ice by 1 sec per arrow hit E renamed to wings of ice, gives ashe wings made of the blackiest of ice so she can leap to anyone she wishes to attack or escape anyone as this will be a 1500 range gap closer/escape R is remained unchanged except it now stuns for 3.5 sec no matter the distance traveled and has ad scaling it also stunns the target and any 3 targets near that target.
beware of black ice.
4 gap closers. And a passive that crits twice or every hit (lucian/yasuo) Basically ashe would have yasuo's passive.
...be serious, bro.
What? they jerk off the gap closers now. Low skill floor champs like zed/fizz/yasuo/syndra/thresh/rengar that are(for some reason!!!!??) called high skill cap.
Overloaded as fuck kits that only make this game a nightmare for anyone they're against. You don't even have to master the champ, I could compently play any of these champs and win lane 60%+ of the time entirely because of their kit not because I'm even a good laner. This is how bad champion design is as of the past 2-3 years
We need more champs like pre rework karma.
Or Chogath Or blitzcrank Or Jarvan IV Hell I'll even take lee sin style champs with a fuck load of utility and high base stats over this bullshit any day. At least then everyone gets to have fun kits to fuck around with instead of only a few players.
Q would be either a attack speed steriod or an ad steriod, it wouldnt cost mana to slow. passive would be close to yasuos, volley would be like buckshot piercing and doing reduced damage for each arrow hit. e would be renamed to wngs of ice, which would give her attack speed steriod passively and when actived gives her wings to leap to a certian distance to either chase or escape. r would remain the same stun would be 1.5 sec mini and 2 sec maximum that way usin her ult to peel for yourself is not .25 sec on that guy who jumped in your face with mec treads also it would have ad scaling.
They would have given her mobility along with extra crit and the cc otherwise she wouldn't be op enough. ADCs are the worst part of this game
Passive: Heart of Winter Ashe's Basic attacks are imbued with the power of Ice, slowing targets movement speed by 3/4/5% Stacking up to 5 times to a max of 15/20/25% Stacks reset after x Seconds
Q: Frost Shot: Costs (x/x/x/x/x) Mana (x/x/x/x/x) Cooldown Ashe Fires off an empowered Arrow, Dealing damage and slowing the first target hit. Frost Shot consumes all stacks of Heart of Winter on hit, dealing increased damage and slow per stack consumed. Consuming all five stacks stuns the target for 1 - 1.5 seconds. Targets hit by Frost shot cannot take stacks of Heart of Winter for x seconds following consumption.
W: Volley : Ashe fires off a Volley of arrows in a cone in front of her, slowing targets hit by (x/x/x/x/x) % and damaging for (x/x/x/x/x) Volley applies a stack of Heart of Winter
E: Condense : (x/x/x/x/x) Mana (x/x/x/x/x) Cooldown Ashe Fires an enchanted arrow to a target location, shrouding it in a fog-like substance. Functions similarly to brush, targets inside can see, vision granting abilities can temporarily reveal. Wards not inside the Fog will not reveal. Passive: Ashe gains additional gold when killing enemies and structures.
[Condense does not obscure creatures or minions, though it does not allow them to spot enemies for you. They will still function as normal, and attack enemy champions inside if they are aggroed but will drop if the fog is run into. Minions will aggro each other as normal, and will ignore the fog for that sake.]
R: Enchanted Crystal Arrow: Largely Unchanged Bonus: If Enchanted Crystal Arrow hits a champion afflicted with Heart of Winter It consumes the stacks to create a slowing aura around its impact site. Targets hit by Enchanted Crystal Arrow cannot take stacks of Heart of Winter for x seconds following consumption.
Just some things i was thinking of. Ways to increase Ashe's unique niche as a Utility Carry, while also giving her some interesting ways to play around.
Let me know if you guys like the idea, i wanted to see if i could keep some of the more interesting things about ashe (IE her Ult and slow) while giving her better tools to survive as an immobile carry. Keeping the permaslow is a bit tough, since its not a very good thing for counterplay, so i decided that making it a stacking slow, but starting off fairly negligable while not growing too strong would be a good choice. Putting larger slows on her Q lets her kite more if she decides that she needs the slow immediately to get away, or if she can kite out enough to get the full stun. The hitbox would be somewhat Nid-spear like, being thin but long range, allowing ashe to catch running targets who may get out of her way.
I decided that as cool as Ashe's E is, that it might be cool if she had a more offensive/defensive case use of it rather than just using it whenever she needs to check an area. creating a temporary FoW is something that isn't very prominent in the game, with the only skills that affect how you see things in-game being Nocturne's Paranoia and Graves' Smokescreen. This way, Ashe has another skill for fights, while opponents placing wards or using revealing items like blue trinket, Quinn's W or vision granting spells can counter it.
E can't hide minions, so no creep denial by spamming E over a wave. Also will not be used to make your minions push the lane. Turrets have true sight, and will ignore Condense's Fog if it is in range.
