But he doesn't disconnect from the game but rather stays afk in base, preventing us from surrender, still writing in chat or running around in fountain so he won't get an afk warning. Actually leaving can mean that he lost connection but this is trolling. Can this behavior be punished harder than simple afk case?

Well, that's where our ethics differ. I try to never surrender, even if the enemy team has a 20 kill lead.

But which one is against the rules and bannable? Staying AFK in base is trolling and dishonorable. You signed up for a match, you know full well that it COULD possibly take 90+ minutes.
You don't get a free card to bail on your commitment because the enemy team has a lead and you don't think you can win.

Don't expect me to just run into my death everytime im spawning since everything kills me in 1 hit and still keep a happy and sportsmanlike attidute. If you want snowbally games then have them but don't expect me to go through this bullshit when I'm on the receiving end.

Strategy does. This is a strategy game, and it will always be the thing that wins a match.

I also was like you, actually it wasn't that long ago it was season 7, but after the rune update there is no reason to play out a game where you are behind. Just ff and go next that way you can grind more games and have a better chance of winning the next game than to waste your time 40mins to try to win and have a win chance of like 5%.
I'm speaking about ranked here, and im speaking about season 8 not earlier seasons.

You're the toxic one. What if I am a lategame champion with Gathering Storm? What if I NEED time to come online? Not everyone is an early game assassin, and that's where this game has gone wrong in balance.
And you. You're a child for behaving that way. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, you STILL have a commitment to play until the end, whether you enjoy it or not. Do you think I like it all the time? No. But I won't fight toxicity with even more. That's not going to help anything, and it WILL get you banned. Pointless. They will simply mute all and resort to afk farming jg or a lane which most do already. Very easy to be toxic and avoid punishment in this game. Thats why we need player tribunal back now that we have replays. Players have a better understanding to whats toxic and what isnt, so give all honor level 4 to 5 players the ability to view replays of a highly reported player along with text logs. Easy solution.
