How do you beat Kled?

He's 52% win rate on op.gg right now. His only counters are Singed, Yorick, Swain, Fiora, and Urgot. Swain destroys almost every melee top, Fiora destroys almost every melee top without instant hard CC or mobility, Yorick destroys anyone without sustain and Urgot destroys almost all low armor melees. None of that's surprising. What is surprising is that there are only 9 champions that he has below 50% win rate to while his best matchups have him at 62% win rate and even his "counters" are soft counters at 48-49% win rate except Singed and Yorick.

Play a bursty lane bully? All the damage that would overkill Skaarl is absorbed and it messes up your combos. Then he gets tanky enough to resist your burst and takes you down with his sustained damage.

Play a tank? He has sustained damage and %max HP.

Play DPS? He has some of the highest DPS in the game with his W as well as being able to engage and disengage at will with Q/E.

It seems like there's nothing you can do against him in lane, and even if you win lane, he can just go full tank and still wreck people in teamfights as a Q/R bot.

Honestly I would just play teemo. Sounds stupid. But wait until he uses his w to blind him. That, play xin zhao, and straight play like a bitch if you're not ahead.

I found the best thing to counter Kled is Gnar, Mini form has so much kite that it can be fairly hard for Kled to get close to do his damage, and in mega form, his CC makes it hard for Kled to fight back, the other champion i found to counter him is Nasus, his attack speed slow makes it hard for Kled to get off a full w, the armour reduction can allow Nasus's Q to chunk Kled when he tries to go in.

Other then that, champions with good lane sustain, Ex. Warwick and Vladimir, can stay alive when Kled attempts to burst you down.

Wow everyone thinks teemo is a counter to every top laner. He would be seen in LCS that way but nope. Teemo doesn't counter anyone really except ADC who he can burst, he just makes life harder for top laners because of his harass. I mean the same can be said for jayce, quinn and kennen who are all ranged top laners and are much more useful outside lane than teemo.

Poke, dismount, wait for the shot gun then poke hard or all in, need gap close. Don't let him hit you 4 times and remount once he is dismounted and he is easier to gank.
