Kayle could use some love I think

now I'll start by saying I'm not a kayle main and I honestly am not a pro at using her, but my honest opinion is she feels a little "dated" in terms of what she brings. Her main part of her kit is still strong. the ulti. which I feel needs to stay untouched. But currently she feels well idk very very counterintuitive with her own kit. her main DPS is auto attacks and shredding through mr/armor with her passive. but her range is so short even with her E that you risk getting exploded before you can proc even a few. sure you can pop ultimate before unloading on an entire team, but that is taking away from your own kit. her base attack speed is very slow. and her damage output on her E is just not cutting it. I understand that before her nerfs she is OP being able to delete someone with just Q, E, Auto. but there has to be a healthy way of balancing her. I feel she could use some attack speed buffs and maybe even a small range buff to the E to where she can safely auto attack without being at suck a risk of exploding or being forced into using ulti. maybe I'm wrong. but I feel she needs....something. anybody got any ideas on how to give her some power without making her overpowered? I just feel she has a lot of potential as this AOE team armor/mr shredder with great attack speed, but just goes down too easily before she gets to actually utilize her kit/passive.
