Riot, it is OK to face check the bush!

Rather than beating around it as you are doing right now with Champion Nerfs.

http://cloth5.com/pbe-roundup-patch-4-18/

After reviewing the PBE changes, I am left dubious of whether or not you actually **are ** aware how the champions brought the nerf hammer on them in the first place.

A lot of these tweaks are pseudo-solutions that will do absolutely nothing.

Adding a minuscule mana cost to Lucian's dash is NOT going to stop him from using it. Decreasing Tristana's general AS and buffing her Q still doesn't change the fact that she can Rocket Jump all over the map. Additionally, how does nerfing Yasuo's base health and MS supposed to prevent him from Wind walling everything and procing his ult off of the slightest knock ups?

We, the players are your customers. And while we appreciate that you are noting our requests (for nerfs), it would be even better if you heed what we have to say as well (how it should be nerfed).

Thanks for reading.

They're on a path of trying to preserve a champion's identity when they nerf them. Tristana's identity is the adc with a self peel and can take down turrets like nobodies business. Lucien's identity is mobility. Yasuo's identity is flying to meet an airborne target or group of targets and absolutely wreck (since he has his own knock up it would be nice just to make knock backs and displacements not proc his ult but riot likes him too much to make him a niche pick).

In order to preserve an unhealthy identity, the champion needs nerfs unrelated to the problem. This is way champions with unhealthy kits somehow go from 100% pick/ban to unviable seemingly instantly, because eventuality the nerf makes it too hard to do anything when their ult is down (or something similar).

This. While health of a champion's identity is subjective, I have 1 word.

Kassadin Diana ( actually 2)

Both champions have mixed identities, and riot cannot balance kassadin as an assassin while his ult is riftwalk, and cant balance diana while she is half bruiser and half assassin.

Riot's job is to ensure a healthy game, not just listen to the ideas of the people on the forums. League has a 27(I think) million daily playerbase, and only a very small, vocal minority post on the forums.

Jax was almost at 100% pick/ban, but they nerfed his base health. It worked, surprisingly enough, and I expect it to work for yasuo.

I see your point; however Yasuo isn't exactly Jax.

I am not trying to undermine your point but, Jax's kit is more suited for prolonged fights: where health would matter the most.

I cannot deny that this would might be effective for Yasuo as well, since I have yet to see the results; I am just skeptical of how lowering the base health would prevent him from ulting off of the simplest displacements and wind walling everything (even though all the ADC has to do is move a bit.).

Although I hope that this is the last of nerfs Yasuo has had since his release, if Riot doesn't address some of his most intuitive problems, it will just warrant more nerfs.

True. Personally I would have changed his % crit bonus to

Yasuo no longer benefits from critical strike chance, instead he gains 2% bonus attack damage per 1% crit, up to a maximum of 100% bonus( 150% with ie, etc.)

This would preserve his crit passive but remove his early game crit and win lane. Also, I'd make some projectiles unblockable by wind wall( which would have a shorter duration and cooldown), like a nami wave, global ults, etc. If that was to harmful, some abilities would be reduced like braum's wall, while others might be blocked.

I just want riot to do something to yasuo so I can actually play him instead of his insanely high banrate.

Those Yasuo changes are actually pretty significant. 50 HP and 10MS lost makes him easier to shut-down early. It encourages the idea of him being vulnerable when his shield is down, and makes him a little less effective at countering anyone who uses skill-shots.

The Trist changes are also a fairly big deal. Its a noticable drop in her damage output when her Q is not active. Encourages trading when she is vulnerable (Q on CD) and preventing her from AAing freely while it is active.

Gotta agree that a small mana cost ism't going to fix Lucian. But you never know, early on after his release I remember many Lucians running oom in-lane rather easily.
