A tip for the Aatrox mains.

Triforce might end up becoming a thing on Aatrox as a primary item. His new design has less damage and less scaling so full AD lifesteal aatrox is probably gone. However, Aatrox can now build tank with no drawback and his passive gives base attack damage when triggered. If you combine this with steraks then you can actually get about 80 extra flat AD from the combined passives which translates to a pretty high increase to Trinity's sheen proc. With Aatrox now more or less working exclusively with HP builds over raw AD and lifesteal, triforce should logically become the meta item over something like Blade of the ruined king.

This isn't 100% fact, but it's still something to keep in mind.

i would swap PD for tri, it has alot of decent stats for him

but personally i think all the stats from Tri simply outweigh the benefits from PH, movement speed on damage/hp/cdr ect

But the mana is completely useless, and you'll go over the CDR cap with BC and Death's Dance.

Yeah, triforce is going to be too good on him. Raw AD and Lifesteal aren't that great on him anymore. Triforce gives him Attackspeed for his W procs, HP for his W scaling, sheen proc to go with his passive and potentially steraks, movementspeed for sticking to people, and CDR to cast more abilities for faster passive stacking and more sheen procs.

IMO the standard build will probably be triforce into titanic into full tank.

I still think that these changes have ended up just nerfing his overally damage, but atleast he is a bit tankier, also u can build him ap anymore so, thanks for forcing the meta on to us riot :D

The PBE changes show higher base damages for his E, with better AD scalings on his E, W, Q. How does that make AD Aatrox worse?

He's doing considerably less damage. For 1 the scalings don't matter as he's building bruiser now with a very small amount of AD.

The second thing is that all of the base damage is considerably lower, especially for the Q. And finally the E "buff" doesn't actually give him more damage because it was changed to physical. The current E is good because it does magic which means you won't suffer from people counter building you in lane.

Didn't say he's "worse". I said he's doing less damage, which isn't a bad thing. He's able to build more effectively so the decrease in damage is fine.

You can't say all of his base damages have been lowered, then say that he E base damage was buffed. AD scalings are pretty important to Aatrox, and building bruiser, in no way means you build little AD. Especially because of the potential changes to BoRK.

your thoughts on this are correct but you see a lot of them either doing item 3006 item 3124 item 3748 dmg option or item 3193 or stand in the middle of a teamfight option
