So Soraka is extremely oppressive again

The Q spam is grotesque.

Why does a short cd long range ability with only 35% ap scaling have so much base damage(70-230)?

Forgot to mention it heals her and allies...

Forgot to mention it has low mana cost.

Forgot to mention it speeds her up after every hit making it even harder to trade back.

Forgot to mention it slows enemies hit.

How long before people are slipping on banana peels in mid lane again...

For a back lane healer she is too powerful. Especially in early game harass.

The Q doesn't heal anyone. It merely gives soraka a passive hp regen that she can then pass to another champ with her w.

I don't see why Soraka is such an issue. Focus her first and she can't heal her adc because she becomes and even easier kill. MF has a great time ruining backline soraka's because of her q bounce. Get a champ that can get something like morellonomicon or something that has grievous wounds. Zyra, Sona and Morg can benefit from it if you like examples.

I rarely have much trouble with soraka. You can see where her q is gonna land so you dodge q's, stay mobile, harass her so she can't heal or just flat out burst her/both down. Don't play Soraka's game. Don't let her just sit back there.

that all said, I like playing her. I enjoy healers, but Nami feels more fulfilling.

Why

Because it was a recent and dramatic change to how the champion played and people needed to see it in action to figure out where the initial values would place her in terms of balance.

pretty much exactly what i said after playing a few games with her, i mastery 5d her the week before the rework. after the first game it became really obvious how oppressive her new Q was, and i don't see the current changes making any adjustment to that, the increased mana costs as you rank the Q will make it feel like it actually costs mana again but just barely.

yet another nerf to the heal though isn't going to help her play risky, the whole idea of it stealing her health is what keeps her in the back lane. you will not see good soraka players in the front line making risky plays as long as her heal also hurts her. that alone forces you to spend more time poking and annoying the enemy.

i used her as my main support going back to the AOE Q and the silence/mana heal days, and the most balanced she was was the original version, it had issues mostly to do with the Q's stacking - mag resist and people not really understanding how it was applying.

currently she is a 1 trick pony (q spam) and i dont really think that is actually fun for anyone involved.

Soraka Mid is pretty interesting, I don't think it's that bad with her hitting you with a Q every 3 seconds.

Soraka Main Here

One can not underestimate how much Grievous wounds fucks a Soraka's day up. And now that her ult no longer removes Grievous wounds, an adc with a item 3033 is detrimental to your sucess. Raka is annoying early game but she falls late if you build the right items. (Plus she has gotten nothing but nurfs this whole season which were rather needed)
