Loot Menu Champion question

In ones Loot menu under the Champion heading I show 3 different Champs (Sion, Vi, Taric) Taric has a 2 on the bottom right of his little pic.
Click on them brings up a menu

  1. -Re roll into Random Champ Permanent
  2. -Disenchant into Essence +195 (blue)
  3. -Activate Rental 7 Days consumes shards
  4. -Upgrade to Champion Permanent

I am making a lot of assumption reading these and have not been able to find a explanation of them.

  1. This rolls a new Champ where I would have the same option when clicking them. I would do this if I am not fan of that champ say Taric for example and a new one would show. 2)Removes this champ from the list and I would gain Blue essences +195
  2. I get to play this champ for only 7 days then they get removed from list, this will cost shards (which is that little number 2 that Taric has (I have 2 taric shards)
  3. I can click this to gain this champ ??

  1. you need three shards of the same type (ie champion shards in this case) to reroll into a random champion permanent, in whish case it rolls a champion you do not already own and makes them yours regardless of their ip or rp cost

  3. again you are correct but the 2 is the number of shards you own of that champion, not the number it costs

  4. yes but you must pay the indicated number of blue or orange shards for this button to work
