Due to his Q range, Pantheon can simply walk up to a turret, throw a spear at you even if you're hugging tower, and back off. He just won a trade under your tower, somehow.
I think it shouldn't tank turret shots. Or at the very least, only reduce the damage. But with his 140% bonus AD ratio + 65-225 damage spear, and the fact he can tank an entire hit from anyone or anything of a basic attack, its just OP.
Rico Jungle Only1 votesjust remember, you actually need to build armor (cloth x5 health pots, armor seals, 1 point in armor mastery), and he falls off massively, just like his late game. If building defense, it wont matter if he tanks a turret shot, cuz you won't take much if any damage cuz his damage will be falling off. And its not op. Thing is, turret diving one of his only real times to get a kill. Nobody, in the early game, would trade Panth 1 v 1. Because of this, one of the only real times to kill the enemy is under a turret. Man Dropping on an enemy while B'ing under turret, is what makes pantheon, MANTHEON. Also, getting kills doesn't really help him once the clock ticks 35:00 min in.
Trust me, ~2000 games played as panth. Remember theres two points to the game, (winning the lane, which seems to be the world to everyone) and winning the game (which are two different stories for Panth). Panth may win lane, but its harder for him to dominate the game.

Or do you think this is a 1v1 game and the rest of it is irrelevant? If so, you really need to find a new game to play.

I don't find the game to be 1v1. But even in a team fight udner a tower, if nobody focuses Pantheon(which would probably be stupid to do) and he's tanking the tower, he can tank 2 turret shots, charge up his passive and eventually tank another, and that's 3 whole shots that do absolutely nothing to him. I don't know about you, but I find that kind of nuts.
