Is it just me, or are there more AFKs and people who give up after rank update?

After the new ranked system dropped, I find there are more rage quitters in my games. Whether it be selling your items and running around in fountain, running it down, or AFK farming in the jg or straight up DC, I seem to get two of them every twenty ish games. Thankfully, I've only had one case where it happened on my team, but I don't think it's fair that I should be climbing so quickly. I literally don't have to do shit, because the 1/9 Darius basically ints into my lane, providing free lumps of gold, or Karthus "ganks" and gets us a triple by spamming his Q at the enemy ADC.

People give up way too easily. The most common excuses I've seen in all chat for people justifying their inting is "This is an off-role, IDGAF" or "This ain't my main acc" or "Someone on my team was rude to me, so I'm doing this to punish them".

Anyone else experience the same thing? I'm starting to think the new ranking system is too flawed.
