It's a for-profit company. Just imagine how wet your panties will be when you roll it out of a chest. Plus, do you know how much it costs in time and effort to make 1 iteration of a skin let alone however many forms lux has (haven't actually checked lul)?

Don't get me wrong its a sweet skin, if they did the half off deal for the first week i would buy it. If i get it in a chest then awesome, free shit. I digs with free shit.

It's a free game. Skins are re how they make money. (Well, that and real money purcahses for about anything. Although, skins are how they make most money!) If you don't want it, don't buy it. Riot isn't going to see this, and say, "You know this skin that took a couple hundred dollars PLUS the time it took to design, program, record dialog, make particularly affects, animate, create a splash, and have over 6 different forms in it? Let's make it 1300! The skins are based off quality, and effort. That's why we have 750 to 3200! (I think that's the price anyways...)

So then what about spirit guard udyr and pulse fire ezreal? They're basically legendary skins(1850) but they're still making people pay 3250. this lux skin set a bar with what 3250 skins should be.

They were made before this skin. This skin has better technology used for it than the others. While people love to complain about pulsefire or spirit guard, they will never lower the price. People will demand refunds, and then riot will have to give them it... (Also, the price that skins like these are meant to be that BECAUSE THEY CAN CHANGE BETWEEN FORMS, AND HAVE A COMPLETE OVERHAUL FOR EACH ONE!!!!) (although I think sona is the best one of them all! :3 )

I think I should just shorten it really quick... 3250 skins change forms, plus all the additions of a 1800. That's what give some them the price. You don't have to buy them. They have to make money somehow! These are higher priced cuz they had more effort and money put into it! (And I think Soan kinda set the bar. Has 3 original musical pieces and forms, all with different particulate and animations.) (And saying how the new lux skin is worth the money isn't helping your argument that it's overpriced....)

turn on every tv, radio, light bulb, your furnace, window ACs, everything. Leave them all on for a month and look at your electricity bill.

It will be little to nothing compared to what riot has to do to keep this game running smoothly on a daily basis. The skin is a way to make money and pay the bills, while offering something to players who play the game.
