Anyone notice unfair match making so far for flex?

Been watching my boyfriend and friend play who are in Bronze (bronze 5 and bronze 1) and the last 4 or more games they have been paired against people in Plat!

How is this any bit fair for anyone? I mean it's free win for the plats. The checked the MMR and everyone was 300 higher then the highest on their team. What's the point of playing ranked if you're not going to be even somewhat evenly matched?

How long till Riot fixes this? I'm definitely not going to startry my promos until match making is more even or solo comes out...Doesn't seem right that I could be matched against plats from the last 2 seasons.

This happens every year... Just chillax and let the mmrs sort out before playing. It's pretty much standard procedure now.

My first game I was put on a team of all golds and plats, I'm silver

We were against a team with 2 golds, an unranked, a bronze, and a silver

At least ever match of mine I either had a plat on my team, a plat on the other team, or both. I don't recall seeing this many plats in my matches during the normal ranked season

My friend who ranked high gold during the ranked season has matches where he's on teams of golds and silvers against teams of plats and diamonds

I guess it's just because the preseason just started so MMRs reset I think? Not sure, this is my first time actually playing ranked during the preseason

They already said that since a lot of players were bumped down, it'll be uneven at first. I'm playing a lot of draft right now to get used to the changes, and I'll come back to ranked once the higher elo players have mostly moved out.
