Riot, can we address the Summoner's using Bots consistantly in Bot games to level up?

Taking a break from my Main and leveling up a new account and of course starting at level 1, I"m forced to play only bot games. No problem, bot games are easy. Unless we have a "summoner" who obviously is using a 3rd party system to level up the program. Who just goes in a lane and basically farms, attacks, and runs down mid...doesn't matter, if they are under tower, dying or whatever. 0/20/0 later, after the game ends, the 3rd party system just queues them up for another and it repeats process.

On my new account, EVERY SINGLE BOT GAME, there's been at least one or two summoner bots in the games. Now for summoner's like me (who have played the game before), I can win a 4v5 or a 3v5, but if the game consists of new players those games can be unwinnable and not enjoyable. I think there needs to be a better way to handle bot games so this doesn't happen and make these more enjoyable for new players.

I can't speak for any of the players that started before the whole bot popularity started, but if I started playing now, and I struggled to win bot games because some player went 0/20/0 in game, I'd probably just give up and move to a different game.

I feel reporting them only goes so far...I mean just looking at the bot that played in the last game, the history proves that he/she is using a botting program. But has been allowed to do it for over 6 days! I think that something needs to be done and attention needs to be raised on this for any new players.

1 bots are prevelant even on eeal games just look at tt and aram. Apparently pre 30 sr but i havent seen so do cant judge. The problemis most people have a 100% win rate coop vs bots so its harder to differentiate between bots are real people.
My suggestion would be add a personal break like in clash of clans were as it forces you to go offline for a bit if youve been online for too long. But lets change in for leage with after so many nonstop games it flags your system for manual review. Say you play 10 hours a day ztraoght everyday that account should be flagged because most people cant play that much.

This.

This is a huge issue.

Even in intro bots, if you have someone who's botting, the 1-player difference hurts, especially if everyone else is new and is legitimately messing up.

Riot got the bots out of TT, and a good portion out of ARAM, but what about Co-Op? Shouldn't your new players get to have a good first experience when they start playing League, Riot?

My answer is yes.

Agreed. That's exactly what I'm going to do. Although I do like mobas, I hear Path of Exile is really good.

I played ARAM yesterday, and there were only TWO people that were actual players, and they were on the enemy team. Everyone else was a bot (This was on my level 24 smurf, i dont see any bots when im level 30). It was honestly the most boring game I have ever played.

55 minute long game of ARAM. I tried sitting in my base to let the enemy end, because the bots on my team would just stand around, move to a spot, stand there, repeat. I wish this was fixed.

This has always been a problem, and the issue is that there is literally no way to deal with it. Every bot account detected and banned, a hundred more accounts get generated. Every hundred that gets banned, a million more accounts are made. Account creation is so easy and free that any consequence happening to these bot accounts, even if identified with highest efficiency, do not hurt these botters in the slightest.

This is exactly the same thing that happens to other free to play mmorpg's. When you had to buy the game to play, there were no botters, but as soon as they went free to play, bam, bots everywhere. If creating account costs $, even if it's like 1 buck only, botters wouldn't be able to generate zillions of accounts without hurting their wallet, and that would actually make banning them meaningful. But this idea won't work here because it goes against the very fundamental appeal of this game.

As of now, I can't think of any other effective measure against botting.

I kinda like them, they make the game less autonomous since bots are already stupid. It basically requires you to learn how to split.

They might be bad but honestly out of 1100 bot games I only lost 5 and 2 were due to a bug that made the game run like slowmotion.

In short, it's impossible to lose in bot games, and people who quit because they lose when they are new to the game? Never saw one.

I haven't got a smurf account but i enjoy jamming some aram every once in awhile, especially when im waiting for a friends game to finish, but getting stuck in a team with 2 bots and an afk kinda kills the buzz. this has been an issue for way to long and i dont care how, but riot needs to fix the problem, i think its bull shit that i get a 20 minute wait for 5 games cause my laptop over heated but these guys just bot it up time and time again. its a major problem that needs to be addressed.

Sad thing is, is that I made this post 7 months ago and Riot still seems to be doing nothing about addressing the issue [sg-janna]

I stopped trying to level my smurfs just because of the bots
