How did the matchmaker get this fucked?

It's shitty gameplay balance mixed with riot artificially forcing short q times.

So shit matchmaking+shit balance=awful games.

2. Literally getting a gold 3 30% WR ekko in my diamond promo in midlane. Matchmaking working as intented i guess. Oh and ofc after winning 20 games in a row straight from plat 3-dia promos i'm now suffering the same bullshit for 23 games. Get stuck in a 1v2 matchup toplane while your botlane hard ints together with your jungler throwing himself botlane.

And once i reached the MMR i was before my winning streak started i will have enjoyable and evenly matched games again and start climbing. This is how the system works for atleast 3 years now. The system actually tries to rubberband you back if you went on a too huge winning spree. Now if gameplay wouldnt be so shit you might be able to carry some of the games you are intented to lose and thus stop getting rubberbanded but as we know how toplane or the game in general is i can play my fuckin heart out but will get the 18 death mid lux with 3 CS/min which he has every single game. Not an ebay account btw. Nothing suspicious. He still somehow manages to games being an absolute stone pulling his team down.

It's always been fucked. Less players, shittier game, more inters and ragers only exacerbate an already existing underlying issue: hidden MMR is shit.

It didn't. Matchmaking still works the same as it use to. The gameplay itself has just deteriorated. However, as long as people are dumb enough to continue to blame matchmaking, nothing will get fixed.

Don’t do normals if you want balanced teams ..

Let me try to put this in small points:

Overly permissive ranked access. Easy leveling in order to get access. Flood of uncommitted accounts including smurfs that have no stakes. Report system is bronze feelings + toxic noobs > competitive environment currently. People who literally are just deciding to play ranked instead of normal game while turning their brain off -every- game.

Regular ranked dudes: Apathy, try something weird/different to stay sane but end up lose sometimes, and overall slacking off from suffering the above. There's not really a selection of people for duos that can consistently climb, they're usually just cocky douchebags that call you trash when they are just fucking around for an L. It's kind of shitty when you have your entire lp stocked up only to have the common asshole who is going through their bought accounts to just grief every game.

I am Silver II and a couple games ago everybody in the match was gold or higher except for one other person. There was a Platinum on the enemy team. 8/10 people were mismatched, or based on perspective, 2/10 were.

I won't even complain about that because that apparently goes nowhere. All I will ask is give me a Platinum on my team too.
