[Theorycraft] Re-worked Death's Dance: comments and advice wanted

What if Death's Dance effect was instead:

>+15% Lifesteal

>Unique passive: Your Lifesteal applies to all Physical damage you deal (33% effective for AoE damage).

A few remarks:

  • The main point of the change is to have Death's Dance synergize better with other (real) Lifesteal items. But is it a good idea? Is it needed? I'm not sure, and that's the main reason I'm making this thread ;)
  • This change is inspired from Ravenous Hydra, which applies TOTAL Lifesteal to damage from the item, and not just its own.
  • There may be some abuse cases when stacking Death's Dance / Ravenous / Gunblade. Please elaborate if you have an idea about how the 3 items should interact together.

Cheers o/

I think another viable rework would be:

"Can no longer be bought on Graves"

That's not really helpful...

No offense, but that would make some Bruisers and Assassins... really broken and be able to build things and benefit massively from them. Like, for example:

Zed item 3812 item 3072 item 3074 item 3153 item 3139

No offense taken, to the contrary. It's precisely for this kind of remarks that I created this thread in the first place. ;)

I don't believe this kind of build is problematic for an Assassin, because they give up all their Flat ArPen / Lethality, and all their new toys in the soon-to-be update. But some Bruisers may snowball pretty hard, yes. I'm thinking more stuff like Renekton or Riven, than Zed or Talon. On the other hand, if they choose such a build, they have practically no defense, so is it a problem? Is it an interesting trade-off that we'd like to support? (Real open questions there.)
