What if we could defer our champion picks?

Let's say I'm first pick and the champion I want to play is easily countered. What if riot added a feature so I could just pass the pick to a teammate and go last? I'm asking this because working out a trade with non-friends doesn't happen much and there are time constraints to worry about.

  1. I've got X, does anyone have Y to trade me?
  2. No, but I can trade you A for B.
  3. I don't have B. Do you have L?
  4. No but I can go K or M.
  5. Ah, times up, I gotta instalock someone for my lane

That'd make lobbies longer and possibly indefinite if everyone cycled through saying they want last

you pick the champ and attempt to beat the opponent. Being countered really doesnt mean a lot if you are better than the opponent.
