Splitpush supports

I like split pushing, and support is under rated. Are there any splitpush supports or should I stick to top lane?

There really isn't a true Support designed with split pushing in mind, but Zyra has amazing waveclear with her damage so you can push fast then go back to the team (staying there isn't good because you have no escape or quick way to join your team).

However, you can get Zz'rot Portal on any Support and push a lane pretty far while you leave. You just have to be smart and not place it when someone will immediately take it out.

With some AP Janna can instaclear waves with a tornado. Your shielded autos on the tower do decent dps.

Play Bard with a Statikk Shiv...

His kit promotes roaming, you can help all lanes. Just don't go full damage. Build tanky/utility and waste people's time for chasing the support.

No plz don't use 2600 gold on Bard just to get a Shiv. A Zz'rot costs 100 more for useful stats, or you can get AP because your Meeps scale with it.

You fail to understand the intricacy of Bard then :o

Sure a Zz'roth is leagues better for a support like Nami.

But on a champion like Bard? Shiv would give more waveclear (which is what the OP wants) while also giving him more movement speed, harass. And it also perfectly fits a champions who uses hit-n-run to kite people.

Also he could probably use both items.

The support is meant to support the team. Split pushing is something the support doesn't do, because the support carries all the utility items the team needs. Now, if you run Trundle support and Ivern jungle, then you can do it.
