Talon buffs

Talon Mana Regen increased to 1.52 from 1.518 Mana Regen growth increased to 0.16 from 0.1 Noxian Diplomacy (Q) healing increased to [17 + 3 per level from [15 + 2 per level]

Edited: These buffs are for his lane phase but I think Talon doesn't need buffs to lane. I think most Talon players feel that he is a bit clunky and that his engage is too unreliable.

Buffs like movement speed over terrain increasing with rank or increasing the jump range on Q would actually help. I don't think these buffs will be very noticeable, I rarely use the heal on Q mechanic personally.

Talon now regains 0.2164 more mana every second at level 18

This isn't even a buff, it's a rounding error

Yeah those buffs are kinda pointless atm but I feel like that's not all of it. Why give him laning phase buffs when his laning isnt the problem i mean sure riot has a huge issue with some champions but it can't be this bad.

wait , these are confirm'd buffs? Ill take em.

Im perfectly content with how Talon is atm and am more concerned about them ironing out bugs than any major things with his actual kit.

U wanna know what would be a FEEL buff to Talon? Making the Assassin items give actual MS rather than OoC MS.

Assassin items giving out of combat movement speed is a conditional power, if the already insane high mobility assassins got free MS than they'd be a lot more difficult to deal with. Out of combat movement speed allows the items to grant more movement speed for roams.

Talon lane phase is already above average and pretty damn strong, also I can't think of any Talon player who has mana issues ESPECIALLY after the changes they made to his mana costs.

The items gave it before the update tho. Sure, it would be less potent than the OoC combat MS they currently get but I personally would prefer the consistency.

Roaming is well and good but not always possible or the optimal thing to do. I'd much prefer even just a small but substantial flaT MS like what item 3285 item 3100 provide so that it isn't so easy for targets to get away from you after you hit them 1 time or they hit YOU 1 time.

Never been a fan ofitem 3117 for this reason. item 3009 for life.

This i can mostly agree with, tho Talon can , unlike other champs run himself dry easily after any sort of all in or assassination since he is AD and uses mana and doesn't get access to any actual mana sustain.

Kha Zix has Mana too, but he is played almost exclusively in the Jungle and thus gets access to it via Jungle itemisation.

This can Leave Talon having to back more than most champions even at all stages of the game.

I kinda went from practicing him on Coop vs AI, to getting an S rank on my first PvP experience with him.

I'm not sure how clunky people really thinks he is, partially because I didn't pick up Talon until after the rework.

The OoC MS is designed to promote roaming. General MS has the potential of getting abused, especially if people rush serrated Dirk over boots. (+20 flat is quite large) They also probably don't want to give Assassin, a lot of chase/disengage potential. Especially when they can already get an MS boost from Ghost blade.

well obviously the numbers would be adjusted on the MS. I don't really see the validity of the point when item 3285 anditem 3100 exist.

I think part of it has to do with component items. While Lich bane offers 7% and Luden's 10%, atherwisp only has 5%.

With Base champion speeds between 325 and 355, most champions champs will only get between 16 and 18 MS. And it's not like those items are entirely built for Assassins. Given that neither Akali or Kat have mana, they won't by lichbane.

Personally, if I had to reduce the MS just to get it in combat, I would still take the OoC MS. (Again, because I still have the Ghost blade active if I need it.)

He feels "clunky" because of how long his animations take to go off now. Before, he could drop a combo in under 0.5 sec. Admittedly, it had little in the way of counterplay.

Plus, his E can be a little wonky sometimes.

interesting, Though often I find myself compensating for that fact using his ult, for the invisibility.

My usual play pattern involves, combining his W and his Ult. This not only helps me insure that my passive is stacked, but it makes it possible to stack it on multiple targets.

The only part that really feels bad to me, is the fact that you only have 2 spells out side of your ult, for stacking your passive, since E has no offensive component. On the other hand, I also found that his ult is relatively short in cooldown. So I still feel like I have enough up time on my primary combo, and enough offensive power.

Actually, i do think he can use some buffs for his lane, especially in terms of survivabillity. Though the buff is pretty small, the manaregen is just cleaning up numbers and not actually an improvement( ~0.22 more mana every second at level 18)

I personally would love to get his old Base AS back, it would make his AAs feel more responsive and quick(as an assasins AA should) while giving him a bit more threat to finish targets once his combo is down. I really don't understand why it got gutted at all, assasins already lost the 40% on yomuun's, it's not like high base as would alow them to do anything stupid with their items, while high base AS would be fitting for assasins and makes them feel more fluid.

Though what i'd prefer the msot would be some buffs to his W. It's far less reliable than be for and even has less imapct IF it lands. A slightly higher range and bigger aoe wouldn't hurt. I's also prefer the return to be delayed even slightly longer, but therefor haveing a slow on the first hit aswell, like 25% for 1,5sec on both hits, stacking additivly(so 50% if both hit) Some more base ms, or an ms-buff after dealing damage with Q to an champion would be nice, the 15 ms nerf off the reworke did hit him quite hard.

The lack of reliable ranged aoe, and mostly of a reliable ranged slow made talon even more binary. He just has even less to offer for his team than pre rework if he can't get off a clean assasination.

his damage is abusrd. his problem is that hes too predictable. low mobility during combat. they can't fix him.

I think the mana was just for rounding purposes lel
