How are you supposed to deal with hypercarries late game?

Like Vayne and Jax. It's like no matter how underleveled and underfed they are, late game they can 1v5 pentakill and make the enemy team completely unable to win the game.

I played a game a while back where a vayne as 1/9 after 20 minutes. At 40 minutes, she was 11/10 and could kill our super-tank and 40% lifesteal ADC with a few autos each.

And sure the solution is to "end faster" but most of the time it's just not possible to end fast even when ahead, because they will splitpush and then we either ignore them, letting them get gold, or chase them, wasting time for objectives.

It just seems like you can't win after 30-40 minutes because these champions (VayneNasus Jax mainly) fuck up the game SO MUCH. I know that's their POINT but there is no good counterplay besides "cc" which most of these champs can dodge or block anyway with their abilities.

This isn't really a complaint thread (maybe a little bit) but I just want to know how to deal with this.

Well, dont let game get to late game... Thats the whole point. Why did game go into late if she was 1:9? Get rift, get baron, push and win

Didn't you read? They said she was split pushing so they all chased after her instead of pushing mid.

or just sending one person to fight them. How much damage can a 1/9 vayne really do at 25 min

If they're ahead, and they catch you on objectives, aren't you fucked?

Well if champions with such garbage early game get ahead early, then it has nothing to do with champions but with player skill.

I wish it were that easy, but I'm in bronze 4 so it's really not. Some people are too brain-dead to be playing this game.

First, Nasus is not a 40+ minute champion. Second, the counter to splitpushing is to ignore the splitpusher and just win the free team fights - it's impossible to defend against 5 as 4 unless the 5 has a horrendous team comp, in which case the 4 having a late game champion wouldn't matter. Third, the counter to late game champions is to end the game before they get strong enough to carry.

Nasus, of course, being a juggernaut without mobility, so no matter how many stacks he has he still loses on range to ADCs who also scale better.

And another counter to hypercarries is having one of your own.

Heavy cc :) If you see someone pick a jax, try grabbing a Janna or maybe a morgana. Alistar might work too. As for vayne, some targeted or very reliable stuns. Also frozen heart and randuins cripples her. FOr nasus, any sort of slow and a qss makes him completely usesless

Hyper carries like jax are supposed to be 3 man ganked or more when he is alone and focused early in team fights. With the strength of defensive items i doubt you even need 3 people just 2 diffrent damage typess morderate to high damage and some cc slows are fine if you can bait out his q. With popular jax builds his weakness is usually low magic resist due to 1 magic resist item and not usually building hybrid. Though that is bruiser build and bruisers are mostly dead due to the strength of defensive items whats most likely going around is psudeo tank which means his whole kit is working off of low mostly single target base damage so any one better psudeo tank

You're not supposed to deal with them late game. You gotta end sooner, ik you mentioned that but it's true. If you can't end when you're ahead then they deserve the win for being able to stall the game out.

Try getting a zzrot or banner of command to help you pressure and take towers. I've recently started to build banner and it really piles on the pressure when you're ahead.

NASUS hahaha

every champ has a different way of dealing with them, and most of the time you should be able to end games before the 30 minute mark if the enemy hyper carry falls that far behind, could you please post the link to the match or say what the team comps were

I know the feeling, but its all about targetting and picking where you fight. You and your team need to know how to utilize your kit most effectively (counter engage? Force engage? Poke? Etc) and where and when the kit is most effective. Rengar loves bushes for example, but needs the support and teams help to ward and clear wards. If that happens the enemy team will pretty much avoid the jungle in general because every bush can hide their death.

Don't let it go late. If it does go late...

For Vayne, Twitch, Jinx, or other ADC hyper carries, you need someone who can burst them down quickly. If you don't know where Twitch is, don't start a 5v5 fight. If you see him safe on the back line with his ult up, don't start a 5v5 fight.

For champions like Jax or Nasus, Your best option is to disrupt, displace, or CC them in fights and focus on killing their teammates first.

Yeah, don't chase them. You act like letting them split is not an option; that IS the option. Base race them. You'll win. They will lose. Congrats, you won the game.

If a vayne is splitting before 30 mins, you can mostly ignore her. Just engage the 4v5, take the towers, and win the game. She can stay in her side lane and get all the gold she wants while she loses.

If it wasn't possible to win the game before she's fed and dangerous, then you didn't play well enough. I know that sounds condescending, but it's the truth. There are champs in this game that are REALLY strong late, and you have to win early to beat them. If that bothers you, then start maining Nasus, so you'll be the dangerous threat late game.

End faster?

Than a hypercarry?

??????

Especially Nasus, those empowered Q's with stax and low CD? Good fucking luck ending faster.

Simple: You don't

its kinda like how do you deal with early game bullies as late game champs. its the same form of violation.

CC or teaming up is your best bet

Jax and Nasus aren't that late game. Vayne, Jinx, Twitch, Xayah. These are late game hypercarries. And yeah, they often are weaker early game so it's pretty much your fault of not abusing this. As a Nasus main, here's THE tip I can give you : murder my team when I'm splitting. I can't do shit in 1v5. CC'd to death. Just quickly engage, get Malph/Sej/Kali and other tf champs. You'll get 2 towers, inhib, free baron, whatever you want.
