Cait ult vs. Sivir spellshield.
Why, exactly, is her spellshield able to counter Cait's ultimate? It's an ability, yes, but it's a freaking physical attack. How does a SPELL shield reflect a physical attack? I can't say I agree with that.

An Ability is a spell. except when it counts as an AA like Mystic shot.
Kouga1 votesActually Mystic Shot is still blocked by Spell Shields such as Sivir and BV.
However, Morgana's Black Shield will not block the damage portion of it, as it deals physical damage on-hit.

All Champions have "Champion Abilities", generally including an Innate (Passive), Basic Ability (Q W E) and an Ultimate (R) Ability.
However these are also considered Spells, each and every one of them, for the purposes of things like counting Spell Casts (
) or charging up 
Abilities are Spells.
Spells are Abilities.
Except when they're Summoner Spells.

Guy Fox Teemo1 votesITS a spell just because it does physical damage doesn't mean it isn't a spell if you think that thrn were just gonna have to recode about half the abilitys in the game since they do PHYSICAL damage.
